Location for the property is ideal. Barely 5 minutes walk away from beach and main avenue, 5th. Underground parking for trips further afield also.

Modern, bright, clean, perfectly located

The location was perfect. Walking distance to just about anything we needed. Walmart 2 blocks away for groceries and multiple restaurants all within 1 or 2 blocks. Located back 2 blocks from 5th Avenue so the noise level was low. 3 blocks to beach closest beach but walkable to all of them. The apartment was spacious , clean and stocked with all the amenities one would need. The rooftop pool /whirlpool was amazing and always kept clean and maintained. Hotel management (Alan) was easy to communicate to and would answer any questions we had promptly.

We had only 1 key to get into the front of building. Although it was only 2 of us we pretty much had to leave and return the same time which was a pain. We asked for another key but told only 1. The apartment we stayed in could accommodate 4-6 people so would be a big issue for that many people I think. I would suggest having a printed list of things like - where to take the garbage when full, where to get jugs of water etc. We could have messaged management but our neighbours gave us the information on where to take garbage as well as leaving big jug outside with pesos for fill up. Would make it more convenient for people to read if left in apartment.

The accommodation is clean, modern and well equipped. The pool is big and has a lovely view and the building is close to shops, ferry, buses and the sea.

The good amounts to nothing when it’s so noisy you can’t sleep. Of course, it was no one’s fault that carnival was on nearby for a few days but if you’re going to build on or above a main road, soundproofing is essential anyway and the shutters are nowhere near effective enough at blocking out the clubbing, bar, percussion instrument, siren, motorbike and early-rising animal noises. I didn’t heed previous comments about the noise from nearby bars and neighbours’ animals and was shocked to discover how bad it was. One night, the floors and walls actually shook. When I complained about it, a week later I was moved to another flat but it was just as noisy, if not noisier, as it was on the main road and beside the front door so I could hear everyone coming and going. I requested a refund in order to salvage the rest of my trip and go somewhere quieter but this was denied and the noise utterly ruined my stay because I was permanently exhausted from not sleeping a single night in two weeks. It also ruined my birthday, which I had been looking forward to and saving for for a long time and I will never be able to get that back. The water pressure was so weak in the first apartment that I couldn’t remove the sun cream, sand or shampoo. It was unpleasant finding sand in the bed as a result. The air con also didn’t work in the bedroom of the second flat and the bed was uncomfortable. By saying that there are reception services and activities that you can book, it suggests that there will be a person. In reality, there was a reception desk but there was never anyone at it. You can text Alan your questions and wait for his reply, which is not ideal. It took two days to get set up for the gym, which requires you to send a copy of your passport via Alan. I saw no sign of the 24-hour security and, as a solo female traveller, you take these things seriously.

Kitchen well equipped. Location great. Quiet. Rooftop pool very nice.

A bit pricey compared to other places, but I did make last minute reservation. Too bad beaches full of seaweed.
