Cabanas Green Apartment Ria Formosa

Location was good if you had a car. Otherwise it a bit of a walk to the bus stop, grocery store.

Very little communication with the host. Had to figure out everything by ourselves. Lots of noise from apartment next door.

Location was convenient (not far to restaurants, shops and supermarket) and close to waterfront. Room was generally acceptable. Pools looked great but weather was too cold to use or even sit around most days. Facilities are geared more toward summer use than winter season.

Unit needed some minor maintenance. Electrical outlet in bathroom did not work always work, kitchen faucet was loose. washing machine cabinet door fell off (was not secured), toilet seat lid fell off (I repaired). Buffet restaurant was quite expensive and not worth the money. Very limited selection and of poor quality. Glad we did not take the full board option and ate at nearby restaurants all but one night.

Beautiful studio apartment. Lots of interesting art and artifacts. Great view. Good location. Glad for the elevator and access to the rooftop. Kitchen very well equipped.

Parking lot was VERY dark. No place to hang clothes except a very small rack. Tried to contact owner twice, but no response. We wanted to rent again next year. Need to leave directions on how to use the washing machine.

Hard beds, noisy fridge and unless you can sleep through a huge noise, no good. No plug for the kitchen sink either and the tv was hanging off the wall, which we could not use. The water heater was leaking too. Maybe other apartments will be better but not 301a which is on the roof, no good for disabled, there is a lift with stairs that you have to go up and down to reach the apartment. If you can't walk far the local bars will no good.

Very comfortable apartment, with lots of space for two people and good views from the balcony. Close to the beach and pools. Good choice of restaurants in the small town of Cabanas. Parking is plentiful close to apartment. Recommended.

A minor point but the refrigerator is old, needs replacement.
