The room was clean, comfortable and had a good beach view. There were 2 pools and a boat trip to the island of Tavira in front of the apartment.

The location, lovely views and fantastic beach

No real negatives

Initially the apartment looked very good - for a studio it was very spacious and well decorated. It had a balcony with comfortable chairs and a washing machine with an airer to dry clothes. However, we soon noticed the arms of the sofa were badly stained and one of the windows in the kitchen area was cracked across.

When I took a shower the entire shower fixture came away from the wall. We reported it to the owner who sent a cleaner to check it out. She confirmed it was broken and said she’d talk to the owner about getting it repaired. That was the last we heard of it in the 4 nights we were there. The next day the internet went off completely- it’s only when you haven’t got internet you realise how much you use it. Again we got in touch with the owner who said the router was in the flat above ours and no one was home at the time. After about 5 hours we got in touch again and the owner suggested turning the power off to both apartments and restarting it. This proved successful, just wish he’d suggested it in the first place!
