The Nook - A stylish apartment with garden, near the beach

Great location. Thoughtfully designed and comfortable bed. Peaceful street.

The garden was not ideal. Access to the terrace was via a shared pathway with the owners of the rear garden frequently using the space with their own dog off lead. This made it difficult for us to use the space for our own dog. Additionally, their dog would immediately come up to the glass on the back door which unsettled our own dog. It should be made clear that the garden is not truly private. Additionally, perhaps some frosted glass on the back door for added privacy (particularly as it looks directly into the bedroom). The curtain pole above the back door needs repairing as it was not easy to close the curtain.

Very comfortable and inviting. A home away from home. Lovely to have garden access and BBQ / firepit facilities

We liked everything especially the garden which was great for our dog.

There weren't any instructions for using the cooker. We have electric at home and didn't know how to light the gas hob and oven. Also we weren't sure if people upstairs were accessing the upstairs through our downstairs accommodation as there didn't appear to be any other way to access the upstairs apart from a locked door in our accommodation. I would really like to know if this was the case

The apartment is very clean, well equipped , nicely decorated in an excellent location.

Bed in main bedroom slightly too hard to our preference and upstairs neighbour was bit noisy with their creaky flooring.

Good location. Little extras like the few laundry pods appreciated

Single beds very squeaky and not that comfortable might be ok for kids but had teen and adult so found them quite thin.

Had everything we needed. Nice touches of tea/coffee/ milk/hot chocolate for us along with toiletries. Felt like home from home and was warm and cosy with lamps and heating on when we arrived. Host was extremely accommodating.
