The location plus parking space

It was dirty,the bed was uncomfortable,the kitchen light didn't work,,the TV remote was held together with sellotape so very temperamental. It could do with a good clean and a lick of paint it was very tired,it was smelly with it been in a basement. Whoever lives/stays upstairs was like a heard of elephants we got woke up just after 6am every morning of our stay which isn't fair when you are on a break from work and a lye in would be nice.

Location was excellent.

The position and the small parking were the only selling point.

This is not an apartment, it's a basement, very small, very damp and very moldy. The bed is not suitable for 2 adults as it is not even a double, as well as the bathroom, as the shower being way too low. The place was very dirty, and did not provide much, no hand-wash was an all time low. The parking only suits a very small car (we were lucky as we had a corsa). The decor was not good, and even considering personal taste, it had nothing to do with the lakes or beatrix potter, or anything else of reference in the area. The entry was a mosquito trap, and almost impossible to pass through with the luggage. It rained our stay and the astroturf-y cover in the entry was completely drenched, why would someone think to use there is a mystery. Would not recommend.

We loved the quirky decor, comfy bed and Smart TV. The apartment was in an excellent location for the main town with a nice outdoor seating area and parking space.

The broken downpipe on the front of the main house so the water poured off the roof when it rained heavily and didn't have anywhere to go. The fairy lights at the entrance looked lovely in the dark but were very bright and seemed to be on a timer so couldn't be turned off for sleeping.
