It was charming, beautiful/homey, and just a lovely place overall. The personal touches made us feel welcome.

Position, space, the views, super clean, attention to details from the owners

Lack of oven. Kitchenware was extremely limited in number. More importantly, the hosts highlighted the importance of keeping silence after 10pm not only in the house rules but also by leaving signs and warnings across the flat. We understand the need for such warnings in a wooden house where sound spreads and owners live downstairs and we made all our efforts to limit any possible noise during our stay. We were not delighted that in the last night there was quite some noise coming from downstairs until late in the night.

Schöne Unterkunft, alles sauber Mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Separater Eingang 2 Schlafzimmer Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt Inkl. Spülmaschine Kostenfreier Parkplatz vor der Unterkunft Hocker in der Küche am Boden befestigt, hat und nicht gestört Tolles isländisches Frühstück über die Gastgeber gebucht - sehr lecker. Geräucherte Forelle, Isländisches Brot, Rhabarbersaft, Marmelade, Blaubeercrumble… alles aus eigener Herstellung. Es werden einige Handmadeprodukte angeboten, Preisliste hängt aus. Oli und Bianca sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We loved this private home stay! The area where guests stay (upper part of the house) was so warm and welcoming, it was so comforting to return to such an inviting, warm place with so much heart and soul put into it! There are also products available for purchase that they make and we love, love, love our felted sheep and will hat. Really unforgettable experience!

The hardest part for us were the rules involved in staying in someone’s home while they are living beneath you. We hadn’t quite adjusted to local time, and though the quiet hours are totally reasonable, we weren’t tired or hungry until almost too late.

The location was very convenient and easy to access. The design of the home was very unique and inspiring. You could see a volcano mountains and the lake from the balcony! The sky light windows were such a nice touch because you could look outside and see the beautiful sky from inside. The sourdough was delicious and the owners were very friendly. Private entrance to the second floor.

Clean and nice house. Nice location to Mivatten spring.

We went to wrong house at first. And couldn't see the road well in a snowy and dark night.

It was very comfort and clean space. Actually this is not a separate apartment but you rent the first floor (full isolated of the rest house) of a family house. Plenty of space, large comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitchen, great location and free parking spot.
