Everything was perfect! The attention to detail is impressive, you will be amazed with everything the hosts have hand crafted. It was without a doubt one of the best experiences we’ve had in Iceland and my brother even said it has been the best accommodation he’s ever stayed in (and he travels a lot!). The communication was very good and clear.

You have to keep in mind that there are silent hours because you’re staying in their personal home, but they are very reasonable.

Gorgeous views, great location. Spotless. Nice to have fresh bread although over £7 for a loaf? come on.

Very expensive, felt a bit like we were intruding rather than welcome guests with the obsession with being quiet at all times. I also didn’t like having to check in after 5pm and be out by 10am. Can’t possibly take 7 hours to prepare for next guests. Also pillows were rubbish!

Location, great views, mostly quiet

Would have liked a couple of cereal bowls and a couple of extra pillows. Would vote for a heating pot for tea. The set up for heating water was too intimidating. But this is minor stuff

Lovely location with a view across to a volcano. Very comfortable apartment that was perfect for us travelling with adult children. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Everything about this homestay was amazing, the location ,bird sanctuary, amazing colours of the plants all around the house, Beautifully decorated inside and out, you could not but love staying in this beautiful homestay, We had beautiful freshly baked bread waiting when we arrived, This is a must stay if you are visiting Myvatn, There was 4 of us staying and we all loved loved it, Lovely balcony.

Peaceful location and central to so much to see in the area. The unit was somewhat secluded with little to no views of nearby homes. Spectacular view of nearby volcano. Unit was spotlessly clean.
