Very cute, clean and Bianca makes homemade bread and jams. They were delicious! Quiet and they both were very responsive to our questions.

Excellent all around. Guests have the entire top floor of a lovely two-story house, which is very spacious, comfortable and quiet. There are modern furnishings mixed with older items drawn from the owner’s family, which are quite unique. Great views from the second-story windows and porch of Lake Myvatn, steaming geothermal features in the distance, and the lava fields, and there is a steam vent right outside the front door. Excellent location for exploring the Myvatn area. The hosts are a delight: very friendly and helpful. Don’t forget to ask for a loaf of bread, baked underground by the geothermal heat.

No issues. Everything was great.

This was a cute place with roof windows. Quiet and comfy. You can tell the hosts are really affectionate about their culture and area. There is an extensive wiki book self printed. Really appreciate all the interesting facts about Icelandic culture.

There was no oven or kettle.

show drain was clogged, water backed up quickly and was very slow to drain

Location Is a old house, but charming.

Really small bathroom, the water of the shower and sink smell pretty bad (same smell of the geyser). There is no blackout on the windows of the bedrooms, so on summer when there is no night the room is too bright to sleep.

Very comfortable, clean and very very quiet place. They had cozy slippers to wear which was very kind. The view was a big surprise to me as I was not expecting that from the pictures. Location was great. Would definitely stay there again !
