Clean, spacious apartment, with everything you need for a few-day stay. Excellent location, close to everywhere. The communication with the host was very good.

I had no problem communicating with Luciana via WhatsApp to arrange check-in. She was wonderful, and provided much-appreciated juice, coffee, and a few breakfast items. The apartment's location is great - right on the edge of the sassi, walkable everywhere, and surrounded by places to eat, drink, shop, etc.. Importantly for me, I found free street parking 6 minutes away, on Via Antonio Gramsci. If you're on a budget, this is a steal, and you get a whole apartment!

The internet kicked me off a few times, but I was able to connect right back - not an issue at all for me. The balconies are on a busier street, but nothing crazy - no cars honking, motorcycles, loud buses, etc. like in other cities. It's fairly quiet at night. I would definitely return!

Very nice and private appartment, comfortable and with perfect location. It was really nice and helpful of the lady to leave a bottle of water and other basic things in the fridge. Thank you, I have had a very nice stay here!

This is an entire apartment located in the center of the city. It is nice and has everything needed for your stay. The host is very friendly and willing to help. We recommend the place.

Everything was good. One thing that one should have in mind is that you can smoke in the apartment and there is some smell of cigarettes. It didn't bother us, however.

Casa Vacanza is in a great location, just a few steps from the centre and about 50m from the Sassi. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with balconies. The bedrooms are well furnished and are of a good size to accommodate 4 people in the apartment. The kitchen and the dining area are a bit small but very well stocked. I liked the fact that a there was a bottle of juice and a packet of milk in the fridge. I don’t know if it’s usual, but I found it quite thoughtful of the host. Small tidbits in the kitchen was quite useful when I returned from outside quite hungry. The kitchen had everything to cook a meal including basic things like salt, sugar, tea, coffee, etc. These small additions cost nothing but make a great difference to a traveller like me. I wish all apartments provided things like milk, sugar, tea, coffee, oil , salt and some local spices to make guests feel more welcome. Luciana was a great host and communication with her was excellent. I felt very welcome when I arrived in a delayed flight. If I visit Matera, I will definitely stay here again !
