Accomodation was exactly as pictured and our host was lovely. We received the keys and some small gifts on arrival, as well as plenty of recommendations of things to do and see.

The location was fine and was around a 10 minute walk to major attractions. We were there on a Friday night and it did at times feel a little unsafe, but our walk out and back was ok and the neighbours in the street very friendly

Very attentive and welcoming host (small welcome gift), clean, well mainatined apartment and well equiped.

Even though there is air conditioning, it was quite hit in the bed area upstairs. Area is not that nice and clean.

Davide is an excellent, attentive host and this is one of the most well-equipped rental accommodation you will ever find anywhere. He provides everything you need to feel at home and the apartment is very comfortable, exactly as in the photos. A little gift, plus snacks and drinks were waiting for us, which was very thoughtful. We could even do laundry, which is a plus during the hot summer days! Parking right below the apartment is helpful as well.

As others have said, the apartment would be perfect if it was in a different neighourhood. Arriving by car at night is a bit of a shock as you drive through chaotic narrow streets with people sitting outside, and rather than saying it's a "popular" (place where everyone wants to go) area of town, we would consider it a humble zone. It's safe, but if you're not a local it is surprising and probably not comfortable for families with kids or inexperienced travellers. The building is in rough shape and the main entrance way is not suitable for people with mobility issues nor lots of luggage.

The studio apartment is very cosy, recently renovated, with air-conditioning and good thermal insulation. The area where the apartment is located defintely lacks of elegance, but it is quite comfortable as it is close to the city center. The owner is very kind and available.

The parking is reserved for the hosts, but the flat is located in an area of very tiny streets which lack of parking, and this could still create parking problems.

Great host who was patiently waiting for us at midnight while we were going around lost in narrow streets. The apartment is well designed, clean and comfortable.

The neighborhood looks really creepy when you get there in the evening or at night. I would not choose the place for a longer stay because of a mess and dirt around it. On the other hand the location gives you quite easy access to the city centre.

TheRoom looks exactly like on the photos. It’s styled in a very nice and artistic way with various neat small touches everywhere. It immediately made us feel right at home. The accommodation provides everything one may need, even for a longer stay (e.g. washing machine, kitchenette, etc.). Its tiny balcony is lovely and we enjoyed a few drinks there. Davide was super responsive, friendly and welcoming, greeting us personally and showing us around the apartment. There is a private parking spot on the same street, next to Davide’s garage. Please mind that the streets in this part of the town are very narrow and packed with cars left and right, so navigating them can be quite challenging. TheRoom is located in a very authentic and not touristy neighborhood, which at first glance looks a little rough around the edges, but we found it to be quite safe and charming, in a way. It’s 15 to 20 minutes on foot to Piazza del Duomo, and there are various stores nearby. The Catania beaches strip is situated a bit further away, but is still reachable on foot within 40 minutes or so.
