The apartment is very cozy, nicely decorated and equipped with all the necessary items. We got it in the apartment: beer, bottled water, other cold drinks, a supply of coffee and tea, sweets and even a Sicilian gift :-) The host was very nice and helpful. The area looks neglected, but it is safe there. Thank you very much for a great stay!

The only drawback: the fold-out sofa is not very comfortable.

Everything was thoughtfully provided. We stayed for 14 nights over Christmas and New Year and had a fantastic time. Davide, the host, was amazing he got answers to our questions and found time tables for local buses and trains.He gave us great advice, and we thank him so much. The room was designed and built by Davide, and it's brilliant. The room's location means it's not far to walk to all the attractions. 14 days living amongst the local Catania people was brilliant and me and my wife thank Davide, we look forward to using the room again.

Very clean and nice place.

Localization - close to center but the neigberhood was a little bit scary at first look. But you can give it a chance.

Davide was an excellent host, he met us when we arrived and showed us where to park. He was very friendly and accommodating. The apartment was fantastic, he has built everything himself and is clearly very talented. The facilities were amazing, very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. From the balcony, you can see Mount Etna. The location was perfect, 10-15 minute walk to the Historic Centre and main attractions and the area is very quiet at night. Davide left food and soft drinks for us and also little gifts which were much appreciated. He gave us lots of information about attractions and tours and was always available if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend!

The apartment although compact was very well thought out and comfortable. It is in a working class district which certainly did not bother us. A pleasant 20 minute walk to the Duomo, market restaurants etc. It was perfectly safe, very quiet in a noisy town, the host extremely helpful and pleasant. We were able to park our car in front of his garage in the same street. It was 10 minutes to the airport, absolutely perfect for us.

Nothing really. The common parts are in a shocking state but not an issue. It’s perhaps a little small for 3 people if you were to stay longer.

First of all, I would like to say thank you to the owner- He helped with everything, explained where cool locations are, where you can go for a walk, helped to order a taxi to the airport. The apartment is also cool, close to the center, with all amenities, also the owner left all sorts of goodies and gifts from Catania.

We are both vety claustrophobic and that we slept down or up it was a bit difficult
