The property was beautiful - great furnishings, great in celing sound system to listen to music, kitchen was fully stocked and if we were motivated cooking on the outdoor barbeque would have been great. The grocery store was very close if you choose to cook in. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the spa tub was very relaxing. Massimo had thought of everything and also picked us up at the airport and delivered us to the property. He was very thorough in his introduction of the property and very responsive on what's app. We would stay here again. There is a climb to the unit but easy if you are active and should not be a deterrent to staying there.

The apartment is stunning as well as the view! Minutes to town and groceries. Massimo was very thorough on explaining how things work. He picked us up near the bus terminal and stopped to let us pick up groceries. He even carried all our luggage! We plan on returning soon! Book this place - it will make your visit so much more memorable!

The apartment is absolutly beautiful,comfortable and has a great view !There was no breakfast at this locaton but it had a full kitchen if you wanted to shop and cook your own .The grocery store was close and open all day.

The location was way up high in Taormina with a gorgeous view but it was not easy to walk up to or park up there.Its worth it if you are physically fit because the apartment is beautiful, well kept,clean and in a good location. Just beware that its a hard walk up.

The apartment is lovely, with incredible views of the city. It was clean, comfortable and located close to the heart of the main areas. Our host, Massimo was very friendly and provided a wealth of information on local restaurants and areas of interest.

Steps! Steps! Steps! After walking up a steep hill from the lower parking area, there are 26 steep steps you must climb to get to the apartment. This may not be an issue for many younger people, but we were a group of 60-70 year olds and had we known about the steps we would not have chosen this location.

The apartment we was staying in had a very large living room area which was lovely, large balcony with an automatic canopy, fully equipped kitchen with coffee and a large courtyard for if you wanted to bbq or do some laundry.

Couldn’t fault our host Massimo, he was always on the other end of the phone if you needed anything! I would say there were only one thing that we didn’t really prepare for, and that was the walk up to the apartment. In the heat and the steepness of the steps/slope up to the apartment, it truly was a struggle (and I’m in my 30’s and fit) so if you was taking someone perhaps unfit or mature, I would sadly consider this option.

The apartment is big and has everything you can probably need, even more than you need. Massimo is a great host, and he is keeping the apartment very clean. Apartmentt is a 3-minute walk from the Taormina pedestrian zone.

The last 50 metar to the apartment are uphill 🫤

Loads of stairs to get to apartment but view is great! Would have been fine if it wasn’t so hot!

We were a bunch of 5 girls arriving late in the night, Massimo had offered to pick us up from Catania airport. Although we got there much later due to bad weather he & his wife were patiently waiting for us. Massimo on the way to Taormina checked if we had eaten & also made a call to get us some pizzas for the night, but since it was late the ovens were shut, we picked up Tiramisu instead! The best I had eaten!!! He carried all our luggage up to the apartment, which was a very steep climb, you would know if you have been to Amalfi Coast what I mean by steep! We told him we could manage our luggage, but he insisted like a true gentleman. Although the ungodly hour, he still took his time & explained us everything patiently. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, the location not far from the city centre (10 mins down & maybe 15 mins up, depending on your fitness levels). It was a spacious apartment with all amenities you could possibly need! It was close to the hustle bustle but the apartment was in a quiet neighbourhood, so best of both worlds. A small grocery store close by for any urgent needs, a pizzeria that delivered, the funicular to the beach was supposedly close although due to bad weather we didn't go to the beach. Massimo also made some recommendations on bars, eateries & restaurants, which were all top notch! Taormina was the last leg of our trip, we were all very tired by then, the apartment was thus perfect as we got to fully enjoy lazy mornings & relaxing evenings on the terrace. On top, Massimo was the best host I have ever had, he helped us with all our queries, and let me tell you there were quiet a few...

Frankly, the steep climb was a bummer, especially after a long day, but the view made it worth it.
