incredible view, very spacious, well laid-out, the kitchen is fully stocked with high end pots and pans, it is very quiet and just 5 minutes on foot from the Corso

Our host was very friendly and helpful and had great recommendations. He also did a very nice cooking class for us and we learned to make some amazing local dishes. Close to supermarket, town and restaurants and had its own parking bay.

Access might be difficult for people to carry their luggage up to the house.

Good host, spacious and clean, has everything you need as if at home. Quiet and good view, sun rise is especially attractive. Close to shops and restaurants.

Road to house a bit steep but fortunately just a short climb.

This is a beautiful apartment with a view that is spectacular. It has every possible facility and our host simply could not have been nicer or more helpful. He even organized a same day visit with his doctor for me when I developed bronchitis,

There is only one issue with the apartment. If you or anyone in your party have any mobility issues you simply cannot stay here. You would never be able to get up the hill and the steps to the apartment. Similarly, if you are afraid of driving narrow streets and up really steep hills in a car… then this may not be for you. It is so lovely it is worth the effort but if you can’t do these things then this apartment and maybe the city of Taormina itself may not be for you. It’s charm is the hill it is built on but if you can’t walk or drive up or down it.,, you must sadly go someplace flat.

Great location of property, in the midst of Taormina, with fantastic and sweeping views of the sea below. The host was very accommodating and helpful, check-in was easy and a delight, he even drove our car thru the tiny streets to the parking spot. The apartment is huge, very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds in both bedrooms. The steep hill-climb up to the apartment kept us in good shape after eating all the delicious food in town.

There were no screens on the windows to keep Mosquitos out. Would have been nice to keep windows open at night instead of using AC all the time. The TV and stereo equipment are seriously outdated (TV 35+ years), you can't connect tablets or phones to the equipment. An upgrade of the TV would solve that issue and let folks watch programs other than the local Italian channels.

It was more like a home away from home with an amazing view. Very comfortable.

Our host was very kind. He picked up us from the neighborhood and drove us to the house. He helped us with our luggage and showed us the house. The house was exactly what you see in the description. The house was very cozy and really felt like we were at home. Our favorite place was the spacious terrace facing the ocean. It was wonderful sitting outside and enjoying the breeze from the sea. The kitchen was cozy and clean. We cooked some simple but delicious meals there. The location was very good, very close to the city center.

Not really. But Taormina has many narrow streets, which would be very challenging for non-local drivers. Big and wide cars will face difficulty getting around. The house is situated within a private area with a main gate facing the street. You would have to walk a bit uphill with stairs after passing the gate to reach the house. There were stairs but it was not a problem for us. We have family members all >60yrs (no joint problems, not active either) and they were able to walk up the stairs. Once reached the house, you would need to lift your luggage a few stairs to reach the doorstep. But again, it was not a problem for us at all. The house itself really was worth all the effort. Overall, I would recommend packing light.
