Max was excellent...beautiful and clean home and very welcoming. Excellent view. Great for families!!

Property was excellent in terms of facilities (bathroom, kitchen, laundry), very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Location was also great, right near the main part of town. Host Massimo was excellent at explaining how facilities worked, provided great tips on things to do, places to see and where to eat.

While the location is excellent, access to the property is by way of a short (~50m) climb up a very steep hill and stairs. This issue is not disclosed in the description of the property, but I believe should be. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that much of Italy and Europe is quite hilly and few accommodations provide elevator/escalator access. Both my wife and I are quite fit in terms of ability to walk long distances, but the steepness of the climb to the apartment did challenge (but never defeated) us. Less able-bodied or more elderly visitors may struggle to make that climb more than a couple of times a day.

We had a great stay at Massimo’s Appartment. it was well equipped large and very homely. close to everything but a very steep driveway , worth the climb as Taormina is very hilly.

This was such an incredible stay in Taormina, we'd absolutely come back next time. Massimo's apartment is so spacious and lovely, with an incredible view. So many amenities and a great kitchen if you're keen to cook.

The only warning is that the apartment is on a very steep hill.

Great views, a beautifully furnished apartment with lots of features and wonderful artwork, and a nice outside space that we wish we could have enjoyed more but were out sightseeing as our stay was only 2 days. It was a short walk to where the action is but very quiet. Massimo was very helpful by personally taking us to the apartment, helping with luggage, showing us all the features of the apartment (many), and providing advice on places to eat.

We could have stayed longer to both enjoy the apartment and all the things to do in and around Taormina... so the stay was too short (2 days). There is a steep walk toward the end as the apartment is near the highest point for residences in Taormina... providing the views. We had been advised to park the car in a carpark just outside of town (Lumbi at the tunnel entrance and visible on Google maps) that had a very frequent shuttle to the center... so we did not drive to the apartment... however, Lumbi has a staircase that reaches the town just by the apartment. That worked well for us but required walking up the last bit. Alternatively, you can drive and park at the apartment, requiring a drive through the town.

Spacious, comfortable and with lots of amenities throughout. Great central location. Massimo was a very kind and helpful host.

although only a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants, the steep climb up to the house could be difficult for less mobile people.

excellent property that was extremely well equipped. Host was very helpful and took us on a tour of Taormina when we arrived. Very accommodating and friendly.
