Paola was a superb guest. She gave us an early check-in and provided an amazing breakfast for the two days that we have been there. Also gave us very good information on places to visit and restaurants to go. The view is simply amazing!

Apartment in the heart of Città Alta is wonderful. It is fully equipped, we lacked nothing. The fully stocked fridge and the wine offer were a nice gesture. We also thank you for the airport transfer. During our stay, we visited Milan and Verona, but Bergamo particularly grew close to our hearts. We would be happy to return and will recommend this apartment to our friends.

It was such a lovely surprise to walk into a fully-equipped flat. Paola also communicates with you regularly from the time you book until the moment you arrive.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect as it was in the centre of the upper town within walking distance to everything and across the road from the funicular. We also arranged a taxi transfer directly with the host which was very helpful. The host was lovely, and made the effort to meet us and show us reccomendations on the map for sights and resteraunts. The kitchen was stocked full of breakfast items and drinks which were all included. Very generous host.

Everything was great, but I would mention that the stairs are not great for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly as there is no lift.

The location was superb, and after the day's tourists had gone, the citta alta was very quiet. The apartment is opposite the funicular railway, and at the bottom of the railway is a bus to the station and the airport. The person who met us with the keys was friendly and she gave us a lot of helpful information. We appreciated having groceries in the apartment after a long journey. It was easy to buy food nearby the following day. We liked waking up to the sound of the church bells in the morning. We had views in 3 directions, because there's a little balcony at the back of the apartment.

The apartment is 3 floors up and there are 6 flights of stairs indoors, and one outside. Had our suitcases been any larger, if we had small children, or if we had mobility issues, that would have been a big problem. We didn't find it a problem with our general coming and going. On the other hand, being at the top gave us good views over the street and meant it was very quiet.

The place is in a perfect location and very easy to reach out to other parts of the town on foot. Paola was very helpful and available all the time. Bergamo itself is a lovely town and has a lot to offer.

The only thing was the sofa bed as it could have been more comfortable
