Elegante appartamento centro storico

We came to Catania for a work trip for six days and needed good Wifi and we paid attention to book a property with airconditioning. Neither the Wifi nor the airconditioning was working well. We decided to leave after 2 hours and we booked another property via Booking.com with even a better location than this one. The Wifi in the new booking was great, the airconditioning directly working and the place was less expensive than this property. We knew that we could not cancel any more for free and we accepted that but then the host gave us the impression that she was okay with some refund since we stayed only two hours. Booking.com contacted her and she reacted that she works on the shortcomings but won't reimburse anything. I did not expect much but with staying only for two hours at her place, the final cleaning fee or the tourist taxes would have been nice to be reimbursed. I cannot recommend this property.

Lokalizacja to największy atut. Wszędzie jest blisko - na targ, do metra, na terminal autobusowy, do parku, na starówkę... W pobliżu również markety typu Lidl, Penny, Deco, a w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie lokalne piekarnie, restauracje, pizzerie i sklepiki. Wszystko w zasięgu 15 minut spacerem. Lokal przestronny, wystarczająco wyposażony. Duże i wygodne łóżko w sypialni. Miła i pomocna właścicielka - udzieliła nam wielu cennych porad i informacji, z których skorzystaliśmy.

Minusem jest hałas z pobliskich lokali trwający do późna w nocy. Nie jest to miejsce dla rodzin z małymi dziećmi. Ale jeśli Ci to nie przeszkadza, możesz cieszyć się wspaniałym pobytem w sercu Katani :)

Die Wohnung liegt mitten im Zentrum. Man kann fußläufig alles erreichen und für Parkplätze braucht man halt Geduld. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten, die Betten sehr bequem und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein- und auschecken unkompliziert und alles freundlich. Es ist nicht super modern, das haben wir auch nicht erwartet; dafür einfach besonders. Wer das Stadtleben nicht gewohnt ist und Ruhe sucht, der sollte hier nicht buchen. Aber wer Catania erleben will, wie es eben ist, für den ist es perfekt.

Hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Большие апартаменты. Рядом масса кафе и ресторанов. Есть платная парковка на углу, находили место всегда.

Апартаменты уже уставшие. Шум, о котором все писали присутствовал до 5 утра) Грязно на улице- не претензия к апартам. Раскладной диван не очень удобный и скрипучий.

Spacoius (2 adults+2 children), clean and cosy apartment. Great location, right in the historical centre of Catania. Walking distance to everything. 10 steps to Via Etnea. Very close to Alibus station (airport bus).

Valeria, you must do something with the windows! They have absolutely no thermal or sound insulation. The wind blows right through them. You can hear absolutely every sound from outside.
