Beautiful old house in the center of a beautiful town. Very clean, fair price. Easy self check in system.

In case of cold nights it takes time to warm the rooms with not a very powerful heater provided.

Well supplied kitchen with kettle, stove, microwave and toasty maker, it was great to be able to have breakfast there. Free parking nearby was great and close to the accommodation. Short drive to Varenna. The views up in the hills were beautiful, there's a lovely viewpoint in front of the church which is great for sunset time, highly recommend. Great communication from the hosts, provided very detailed instructions and videos for accessing the accommodation and parking details.

We visited in March/April and it was very cold. The manager did message to tell us in advance that there was only a small heater in the apartment. It was uncomfortably cold at times, and we made use of all the extra blankets. The property is situated next to a beautiful church, but be warned, the bells ring every half hour starting from 6.30am and finish at 10pm. Does require a car, the walk to verenna is quite far and steep.

The apartment and location is amazing! It's like you're living in a medieval Italy with curly and tiny streets, tile roofs and bell sound! The view from the second floor apartment is spectacular - the church, the roofs, the lake, the mountains - everything you can think of! Also, all the necessary places are in a couple minutes walk distance - grocery store, bar, ATM and bus stop.

Very clean. The view is also very nice. The owner provided detailed instructions for the check-in. Some hike is needed to reach the property from Varenna, but it is something we expected. When we were late at night, we took a Taxi from Varenna, and it was not so expensive (about 15 EUR)

A little slice of heaven. My husband and I loved this apartment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is just as pictured and we loved sitting there to enjoy our morning coffee. Perledo is a wonderful village as well and we hope to be back again.

There is nothing we didn’t like. I suggest renting a car or hiring a taxi if you plan to stay out past dark in Verenna because the trails are only have light in some areas. We had a car so for us it was OK.

Lovely little cosy apartment with everything you need, mini supermarket just around the corner which was useful as we ended up staying in one night and cooked. We did not get a view of the lake as we stayed on the ground floor so be sure to check which apartment you are staying in if you want the view of the lake. If you are planning to walk to the apartment just be aware the walk is difficult if you have luggage as the path is very steep, the owner did send us taxi numbers which was very useful, we rang a taxi when we arrived as we had luggage with us there is also a bus that goes up and down that road but we only seen the bus on our last day.

Vecchia Perledo was a beautiful little apartment that was perfectly blended into the community and the country side. My husband, dog, and I traveled in May for a vacation. We stayed about 10 days and it was very comfortable. The hosts were communicative and clear, the little town has several walk-able restaurants and shops. We did take our car there, and I would advise that 1) if you plan to drive, don't bring a large car or camper and 2) if you plan to not have a car, expect to walk up some very steep hills. The area feel so quintessential, and the surroundings of Lake Como are stunning. The top floor apartment with the balcony is lovely and well stocked with necessary items like kitchen materials and extra blankets. The bathroom is comfortable and clean.

The shower stall for the upstairs unit is a tad small, so if you are a larger individual keep this in mind. Also, there is a distinctly older approach when it comes to electrical wiring and outlets...so if you have four kids who all need to charge three devices each simultaneously, you're out of luck.

Cozy rooms with a classic feeling to them. Beautiful view over the valley. There is a fantastic path that cuts through the roads all the way to Varenna.

A bit farther than we expected. Difficult to get to if you have luggages and no car.
