Casa Colonne

The apartment is lovely and authentic with beautiful tiles and furnishings, soft fluffy towels, a comfortable bed, lots of storage, a well equipped kitchen and everything is spotless. The view is absolutely stunning and after dark when the buildings are lit up it is especially beautiful. Located in a very convenient location near the ferries, buses, shopping and cafes/restaurants but also extremely quiet! The host Michele is fabulous! He was so helpful even before we arrived! We were planning to arrive in Amalfi by ferry but due to rough seas, the ferry was cancelled. Michele messaged to let us know and helped us with the bus during a bus strike! We were so grateful for his advice - we managed to get a seat on a bus during a strike and arrive in Amalfi. He met us at the bus terminal and helped us with our luggage. We were also able to check in early. On the day of departure Michele helped us with the ferriy again as the weather was causing cancellations and also with our luggage down to the ferry port. Thank you very much Michele - we had a lovely time in your beautiful apartment and a wonderful birthday celebration - we enjoyed the bottle of prosecco from you very much 😀

Me and my daughter had a great trip regarding this place as it is close to absolutely everything: all the important sights, beaches, places worth visiting are a few steps away. The property has full set of necessary facilities, so the only thing you need to bring is clothes. What about the host - Michele, he is extremely attentive and caring person, he’ll guide you throughout the whole trip and give the best advices. The genuine love and support that we have received was incredibly heart warming, from the very beginning up to the last day.

Location was the best to imagine! Very good! Easy access to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The host was very welcoming, he greatetd us at our arrival, handed over the keys, advised the restaurants and ferry schedules. Would advise anyone visiting Amalfi to stay there.

Great location, close to everything that Amalfi has to offer. Really quiet and beautiful views. Super helpful hosts and Michele met us at the ferry. Had everything that we needed. Just be ready for a work out as you will have to climb 90 stairs up to the apartment. Would stay again!

Casa Colonne is an excellent appartement in a very central location of Amalfi. The balcony has a great view to the city landscape and a some of the ocean. The place is spacious and well aerated, with an AC if needed for the hot days without sea breezes. There is also a washing machine. Michele is a very kind and attentive host prompt to help and answer any question. We had a great time on the Amalfi Coast and would have no hesitation coming back to stay at Casa Colonne if the opportunity present itself.

As already mentioned elsewhere I'm sure, there is about 90 stairs from the street to the appartement, but that's the Amalfi Coast... Well worth the efforts to get to a great place.

The apartment is huge, the view is fantastic (water & cathedral), the location is excellent too (there are steps to access it!). Michele , the host, was magnificent. He met us at the pier and provided an option to handle the luggage (15 euros per bag). Everything in the apartment was explained clearly, hikes recommendation provided.

The location was excellent for visiting the Amalfi waterfront and Old Town. Michele was so warm and welcoming, and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. He was on standby to help when we faced any issues. Due to its location, the apartment was cool throughout our stay, much cooler than the outside temperature.

Because the property is situated on one of the paths leading into Old Town and it is on the second floor, in the daytime and early evening, there can be significant pedestrian noise.
