Aura Ortigia Apartments

la struttura ha una posizione molto vicina al mare a lato nord est dell isola , l appartamento è’ giusto x due persone l aria condizionata funziona bene è’ presente un balconcino piccino , ma non è’ verso il mare , è’ su una vietta piccolissima

sicuramente lo scarico del ristorante a fianco che sboffa aria calda che sa di mangiare , non è’ piacevole appena arrivate mancavano delle cose fondamentali: esempio lo scottex , un acqua nel frigo , e ci ha lasciato 3 rotoli di carta igienica usati da quelli prima di noi abbiamo notato troppe cose usate , esempio : il bagnoschiuma usato e lasciato in doccia , la carta igienica usata , ci sono anche degli accappatoi( che noi non abbiamo usato perché ci faceva un po’ impressione ) e la porta finestra non si chiude bene , solo con pochissima pressione si apre( quindi possibilità che entri qualcuno da fuori a dentro) manca uno specchio lungo e alto

Owner was very helpful and friendly! He picked us up from the train station and drove us to the property. He was very easy to reach via WhatsApp. Property is a short walk from a great swimming spot and several restaurants. Property was very clean and had great air conditioning. Would highly recommend staying at this property!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The location was perfect for our 3 days. Walking distance to all the attractions. Our host Giorgio was exceptional. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was most comfortable…his communication was excellent (both in English and in Italian) from booking in to checking out, very easy to contact. He was very kind picking us up at the bus stop on arrival at no charge. I would highly recommend Aura Ortigia Apartments.

I didn’t mind the spiral staircase inside leading to the bedroom, however, if you struggle going up and down narrow staircases it maybe a little problematic.

Great location. Giorgio was an awesome host! Super helpful and we really appreciated him picking us up and dropping us off- bonus!

The single bed was not that comfortable

We had a ground floor apartment. It has very nice decoration and well equipped kitchen. The location is fantastic. Less than in a minute you can reach a seashore. It was very convenient to ramble around Ortigia and at the same time to get to the railway station and explore other Sicily Baroque cities. Welcome from Georgio was very warm.

It was very humid in the apartment as not enough sunlight gets inside

The location was perfect for exploring Ortigia but in a quiet side alley away from noise and bustle. Our host was exceptionally helpful, picking us up from the bus terminus and taking us back there at the end of our stay.

The narrow, spiral staircase to the bedroom space (with low headroom) was manageable for us but might be more difficult for some.

Fantastic location, right in Ortigia. Easy to walk not only the whole island of Ortigia, but also 20min easy walk to the Archaeological Park. Giorgio met us on arrival to show us the apartment, and the parking for our car was very close. Great facilities, kitchen had good amenities, and everything was clean and tidy. Lots of delicious dining options within 5 min walk. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and would stay here again without hesitation.

Nothing bad to say; it was a great apartment. If you cannot manage stairs, find another place, as it's one flight up to the apartment, and a little spiral staircase up to the bed on a mezzanine floor.
