Borgo Vico Garden by "The House Of Travelers"

Fairly central location, spacious apartment and nice outdoor space.

The apartment wasn’t particularly clean, with a lot of dust and cobwebs. The kitchen tap was broken and sprayed out water and both showers leaked onto the floor. The lock on one bathroom door was also temperamental. We communicated to the agency that the kitchen sink was leaking into the below cupboard and we were told that it would be difficult to find someone to fix this due to it now being August. We also returned one day to find part of the garden lifted up, with a battery and other components lying across the floor. On the same day, we also had no hot water. We communicated this to the agency and spoke with the owner on the phone who said there was no issue with the water and we must have had too many showers that day. This was not the case and we still continued to have cold water for a few hours. We also queried why the garden had been left in a mess and asked whether this was done by the people who watered the garden (who turned up unannounced) and the owner stated that they would not have done this and somebody else must have. We also raised the kitchen sink issue with the owner and he advised that this was the first he had heard of this issue (the agency clearly did not pass this on). We were also missing the basics, with only a couple of toilet rolls to last 10 days and no additional bin bags. There was also only one set of keys which made it a little difficult for us as a group of travellers. A pile of broken glass was also left in the corner of the outdoor space where the prior guests had broken the shower door.
