Fantastica Casa Poppo

I loved the view of the lake and town from my balcony. It was remote and quiet, not in the town, but a quick drive down. The staff was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location with great views and proximity to Bellano and Varenna. Also has a great SPA.

Our specific room didn’t have a patio, but we used the pool patio for enjoying the views with wine or breakfast

Chiara was our wonderful hostess and she made our stay even better! She was attentive, kind and very knowledgeable and cared alot about the property, so much that I thought she owned it!😆 that's a great quality to have. I highly recommend checking out their newly added wellness cave spa!!! So beautiful, innovative and relaxing and right on site!

We had alot of rain during our stay, but luckily we spent an afternoon in the wellness spa and that totally made up for it!! I would recommend renting a car from Denti rent if you are staying up the hill. Taxis are scarce in the city of Bellano.

There was a scorpion the first day we arrived. Also the staircase was a bit small.Access to the premises not that easy.You definitely need a car to get there

The location is absolutely stunning, beautiful areas to walk around amazinggggggg views. If looking to swith off from the world then I recommend it.

Much easier to get around if you have a car. I was on public transport and once up the hill at the property I didn't want to go back down lol. It's walkable if you like hiking and have time. Also, bed squeaked a lot, mattress was okay and it was quite chilly in the bedroom with no heating up there.

We really loved our stay at the property the views from above were amazing and the place was so homely. We normally struggle with good sleep on holiday but we had the best night sleep especially because there were extra pillows

The walk up was a little tough even for us and we like hiking. Would recommend hiring a car. Our fault for not

Beautiful rustic and charming house with many utensils for our convenience… only observation is that don’t have the bathroom stuff like, shampoo shower soap etc… which is not a big deal but we didn’t know about it so we also didn’t bring. Just hope maybe they can tell it in advance but really an amazing stay!!! The staff was basically one of the partners Sabrina and she was outstanding 🤩🤩🤩 she messaged me since before the arrival to make sure everything was right, waited for us at the station to drive us up hill to the hotel and also waited for us to check in so she could drive us back down to the city… really a sweet lady ☺️ I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and also the view from our room is beautiful !!!!
