Very spacious and clean apartment. Adequately equipped in the kitchen though we didn’t prepare any hot food. TV was not receiving a signal but not a worry for us. No lake view from our apartment but again not an issue for us. The bed was comfortable. The location is very good, straight out of the door and you’re amongst it all.

The place is very dimly lit, the light in the room doesn't work except for a table lamp. The water in the shower drains very slowly.

Location, apartment size and floor plan.

Shower cabin & head needs to be updated, very old. Also hose sound isolation is not so good, can hear what neighbors are doing.

Loved the location. The place is situated right near all the amenities and close to restaurants etc.

Honestly the place is located at such a prime location, you can't fault that at all. However it's such a shame that the owner hasn't maintained the property at all. There were a number of issues with the accommodation that we experienced. We actually couldn't stay 2 nights and had to leave one night early and check in somewhere else. The house had a terrible stale smell, felt like it hadn't been ventilated in so long. The shower stream was very weak. And the hot water very unreliable and we had to keep resetting the hot water system multiple times. Only one toilet paper roll was provided for a 2 night stay ( considering this accommodation is for a 3 person stay) how is one toilet paper roll enough?) No washing powder/detergent provided. Where is a tourist supposed to go looking for washing powder in Lake Como? This should be stated in the description on the page so people can be prepared. The floor/tiles were sticky and unclean. We could not walk barefoot on the floor. The additional blanket and pillows in the cupboard did not have covers. So how were we supposed to use them if we were cold? Overall, the place is very dated, needs an upgrade, including new furniture and lighting. The apartment is so dark and dimly lit. Does not look like the pictures. I had politely asked them to refund for my stay as I had fallen sick and was struggling yo travel. However, I decided to still go ahead because I thought I could have a relaxing stay and a good rest in the house but that was clearly not possible after looking at the condition of the property. We had to leave after barely making it to 24 hours in that place. I emailed the property and mentioned all the above and they said they will see if they can compensate me in any way. Then they disappeared and stopped replying to any of my messages. Highly unprofessional and appealing service.

Proximity to restaurants, ferries, and the town itself.

All was great. A couple of extra wine glasses and coffee mugs would be nice for guests.

Very spacious apartment in a great location next to Lake Como. Very central, yet peaceful. Excellent base to hop onto ferry’s and boats to fully explore the lake. Right next to the funicular too, which is well worth a trip, as the views of Como from top are amazing. Communication, check in etc was good.

Kitchen worktop lights not working. Coffee machine broken Shower head needs replacing asap ..health hazard, as totally blocked up with limescale.

Everything was fantastic!

The location was fine. The staff from House of Travellers were very helpful in assisting us when we were dropped at the wrong location on arrival. The apartment was well set up. The apartment was not as light as depicted on the photos. There were only two wall lights in the lounge room and one lamp. We advised the staff that the light over the stove was out and it was not fixed. We found this ver difficult and to cook we used our phone flashlight. The apartment is nor air conditioned but a floor standing fan and a smaller fan were provided. It was fine when the weather changed but in the very hot days with high humidity it wasn’t very comfortable even with all the windows and shutters open.

As above. The toilet was also difficult to flush but we did find if you pressed the wall button very hard the water flow increased.
