Bologna elegance

The apartment was wonderful, perfect for a couple. So close to the Piazza and the major tourist attractions. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you might need.

The location and facilities were superb

No issues collecting the keys. Communication was good for the handover.

We did not appreciate that AFTER our arrival we were informed that we had to pay additional monies in cash for the tourist tax - over and above the quoted amount. We were told about this after the credit card payment had been made. The host did not inform Booking.com. Our contract should have been honoured.

Amazing location- you couldn’t be more central. Clean. Comfortable. Great communication with host - Federica was SO helpful & accommodating. Lovely shower/bathroom. It’s a very compact, well decorated apartment which was perfect for a couple - but would be challenging for a bigger group.

Needs more/better hooks or a towel rack in the bathroom. I’ve seen a few reviews mention this, so it’s a bit odd they wouldn’t just sort it as it’s such an easy, inexpensive fix to alleviate something that’s quite irksome as a guest! Also please get a new label on the main gate buzzer! It can also get pretty loud outside on a weekend through the night, but tbh the trade off for being so central is worth it. Overall nothing major to fault at all.
