Very normal in Italy and particularly in old town but be ready for the steps in as they are steep

The house was perfect for our needs for a short stay in Monopoli. The bedrooms were very comfortable and quiet, with good AC which is a must in the summer months. Communication with the host was quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I was very disappointed with this apartment. It did not match the photos at all – there was an entire room missing compared to what was shown. The place smelled of damp and there was no way to air it out, as there was only one window that could not be opened. Right outside that window was a bright lamp that stayed on all night, and since there were no curtains, the room was constantly lit, making it hard to sleep. The listing also mentioned a coffee machine, but there wasn’t one. The water pressure was extremely low and at times the water stopped completely, making it a real challenge to take a shower. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this property.

Location was perfect, a stone throw from the sea. Interior was modern and quite spacious. We loved it. In the middle of the old town.

Communication with the agency that manages bookings could have been much better. They didn't respond to my request for days and then insisted on communication through Whatsup application.

The location was very good, close to the sea and close to the historic centre. The flat was very clean, and it was quiet. The beds were comfortable.

The flat was sparsely furnished, just table and chairs in the kitchen / living area, it was not exactly cosy. The kitchen was not well equipped, eg no corkscrew or bottle opener, no spices, no tea, or oil for cooking etc. There was nothing for breakfast, no milk, just two small bottles of water, and coffee pods. There were only two toilet rolls, so we needed to buy some more. In the second bedroom, the blind was fixed to the window, so could not be moved. It just all felt very spartan.
