Bardzo udany pobyt. Mieszkanko czyste - wszystko co potrzeba jest na wyposażeniu włącznie z ekspresem do kawy. Bardzo dobrze działająca klimatyzacja - co przy upałach, które były podczas naszego pobytu zapewniało komfort. Łóżka bardzo wygodne, łazienka trochę mała ale nam to nie przeszkadzało. Początkowo mankamentem było tylko jedno okno. Z drugiej strony w sypialni nie ma takiej potrzeby - dzięki temu nie nagrzewała się tak bardzo. No i kilka słów o gospodarzu - REWELACJA !!! Bardzo pomocny i serdeczny. Byliśmy cały czas w kontakcie. Zaraz po przylocie zapraszał nas na pizzę i oferował że zawiezie nas do apartamentu. Byliśmy jednak na tyle zmęczeni że nie skorzystaliśmy z zaproszenia. Jednakże odwiedziliśmy restaurację Thomasa i serdecznie polecamy. Podrzucał nam propozycje co warto odwiedzić, jakie miejsca i restauracje a czasem podrzucił coś pysznego do apartamentu. Dziękujemy Thomas za wszystko i będziemy polecać :)

The host was very helpful, hospitable and generous. He even left us a breakfast one day and hosted us at his restaurant. Gave us recommendations for visiting nearby cities. The place was clean, and comfortable, in good location. There was everything we needed: hair dryer, washing machine, fridge, etc.

The host is extremely caring, nice and helpful - thank you Thomas! The apartment itself is well-equipped and clean, the beds are comfy. In other words: everything you need :) Perfect for a couple or 2+1. The area is quiet and safe, 15 min walking distance to the city center.

Our host Thomas was extremely responsive and kind. He welcomed us warmly and provided all the necessary information to ensure a pleasant stay. He also invited us to visit the restaurant/shop he runs, where we enjoyed incredibly delicious food. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay, this is the place for you. If you’re seeking luxury, you might need to look elsewhere, but that would also reflect on the final price. In conclusion: excellent value for money.

Convenient secure place, great location to market, train station and old town. Thomas was an exceptional host. Upon our arrival we were ungraded as our original apartment was being worked on. Thomas proved excellent services. He quickly responded to any questions and provided info on places of interest to visit and restaurant recommendations.

We had an amazing stay! The owner was extremely kind and generous. Without any extra charge, he upgraded our apartment to a larger one with a balcony and a washing machine. On our first day, he invited us to his restaurant, gave us a tour of the city, and even brought us fresh croissants for breakfast. Whenever we had any questions about the area or needed directions, he was always happy to help. We truly felt like valued guests rather than just renters. The apartment was clean and spacious, with heating, a coffee machine, coffee and tea, and bottled water provided. The location was also excellent—easily accessible by bus directly from the airport and to the city center. A walk to the center takes about 20–30 minutes, which is not a problem when the weather is nice. There are also many shops, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

A very nice place if you do not fancy or cannot afford a 5*star accommodation and all you need is a place to sleep, cook something simple, relax a bit and prepare yourself for a next day adventure, then this IS the place for your stay! The small, clean place with all the basics in the kitchen(gas stove, microwave, fridge, basic cutlery and crockery); bathroom(clothes dryer for laundry if needed); large bed plus a couch, TV, hair dryer and iron. Bus 116 from airport to train station +other buses stops 3-4 mints walk away. Straight forward walk to old town and train station 20-25 mins. Big DOK supermarket on the main road 10 min walk+ small local stores around. We stayed in the smallest apartament that is added and suspended over a ground floor/entrance of the building and has some steep wooden steps leading into it-just to mention that because for some people with mobility problems this might be an issue. Self and non problematic check in is great! The area is not the best part of Bari and walking side streets to train station you pass by poorer Indian migraints streets, but IT always FELT safe for us women! Thomas, the owner and rentier, is non invasive and always at hand and willing to help you in whatever way is needed! THANK you Thomas for ALL the extras that made US feel very welcome! The cheapest way to get to Matera is: go by 116 bus to airport(1euro/1,50 bought with the driver), at airport at 9:15(5 euros), and 11:30 (3,40 euros) you catch local buses(Pugliabus/Marozzi) going directly to Matera(you can buy tickets on line: www.thetrainline.com is the one I am using a lot while in Italy). Same way back, buses leave from same spot they drop you off). There are earlier or later connections during the day as well. Alternative way is to catch Itabus from behind train station from Largo Sorrentino at 7:30 or 7:40am(priced at 11-13 euros). Tickets inside the cafe by bus stop. This IS place to catch buses going to i e.

Nothing- all my basic needs where met at this place and I do not require a posh place to stay.
