San Nicola Apartments by Rentbeat

The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the bus station (bus no 16 direct line to the airport), 20 minutes walk from city center and aprox 25 minutes walk from the main train station. Thomas, our host, was very helpful, provided us lots of information about Bari and surroundings and was flexible with our check out time ( we had an afternoon flight and we were able to leave our luggage for a couple of hours at the apartment). Once again, thanks for everything Thomas!

We were extremely satisfied with our stay in the apartment. We had all the amenities we needed and would go back there again. I highly recommend it. The host is extremely kind and helpful. He gave us a tour around the city and explained to us where and what is good to see, how to get to each place. We were very impressed and are grateful for the attention.

The appartment is 20 minutes walking to the city center, so the location is perfect if you want to visit the town. It is very well equiped for everything and extremly cozy and confortabile. The bathroom was a little bit small, but for our needs was ok. The host, Thomas, is extremly pasionate of what he is doing. He made us feel very good during our stay there, guiding and counceling us all the time about what we should visit, see, eat. He is one of the nicest host I have ever met so if I come back again in Bari, I Will defenitly choose his place. Thanks Thomas for everything!

Good location in the old building, with all necessary facilities nearby. Direct bus line from the airport, the bus stop is just around the corner. Perfect access instructions sent in advance. Enough space for the big family of 5. Welcome drinks and fruits. All kitchen appliances you need.

Communication just after booking, when you have paid the agreed price and then you get a message that you need to pay extra for cleaning. This is not acceptable. End even after settling it down, this wasn't communicated to other members of your team and you get this extra fee request again before the arrival. A few thing I didn't like in the apartment. 1. The balcony space was used to install the toilet and the shower. The idea is great, but the toilet installation position is horrible - it is facing the outside wall and you can hardly seat on it, because you have no space for legs. Why not get rid of bidet and turn it? 2. The bedroom has a small window that overlooks the internal staircase of the building. So it´s always dark there and noisy.

The host welcomed us warmly. One of the mornings he had left delicious croissants on the door The location is near bus stop 16 that reaches the airport.

Good bed, good and warm shower, airconditioning working good, useful amenities in the room and kitchen, good coffee machine and all tools in the kitchen, nice location (close to the centre), extra pillows, friendly host.

There were some small adjustments in the apartment that could be useful (I recommended to the host separately), but nothing major or influencing general positive experience. Important: if you are having some body limitations: the mini apartment is reachable by quiet steep stairs. Not difficult if you are fit but could be challenging if you are having some walking issues for example. Also, you can park your car paid or for free around the apartment but the city is extremely busy with parked cars all day round (even in mid October when we stayed), so it can take up to 30 min to find some spot at reasonable distance. Much better to travel with a bus or train, than by car.

Interesting local places reachable by up to 30 minutes walk. Remote trips easy by bus or train.

Limited room in the batroom for my 2m husband.

Wasn’t exactly as pictured (there was no balcony), but otherwise comfortable
