La Vanedda apartment

We loved pretty much everything about our stay in Ortigia at La Vanedda. The apartment is very freshly renovated (at least judging by its appearance) and very central. The communication with Coline went exceptionally smoothly. She's been very supportive and even sent us some things via post that we had unfortunately forgotten at the apartment. We can totally recommend La Vanedda!

Neighborhood was a little sketchy

Perfect little place ! We always found a parking space nearby but it can be difficult. Coline is great ! Reacts quickly and provides alot of information. Stairs are steep and narrow so beware if you bring large suitcases.

Perfect location!

Location was perfect! And the bed was really comfortable, and we felt really safe with 2 locked doors.

The man sat on a chair outside listening to a movie on his phone very loud! 😆

The location was enchanting in the old part of Ortigia. Public parking right outside for small car.

Amazing location, 1 min to local markets and a short walk over the bridge to Syracuse. Excellent facilities- large bedroom with comfortable bed, good air conditioning, great kitchenette and laundry with condiments and laundry wash provided. Coline was very helpful and readily available to assist. Free parking around the property if you can secure a spot for a small car.

Very narrow steep stairs to get up to the apartment

The bed was super comfy and the air con was excellent! We were also delighted to have washing facilities including a secure terrace for drying clothes! The location is great, within walking distance to all tourist attractions and we got a parking spot just outside! Very responsive host and easy self check in!

The street that the apartment is located can be a bit lonely at night so perhaps not great for a solo traveler! Also stairs to access, not a problem for us but may be for some!
