Casa Anna with Lake View

The view is one of the best that you will find in the area. Just wow! The hosts are lovely and we're good with communications. The apartment is very comfortable. We were able to cook our meals and relax on the balcony with a glass of wine at the end of each day which was just perfect for us. The location is great.

Aside from the view, I personally did not like much at this apt. There is a restaurant downstairs which stays open til about 11 pm so it can get loud especially if you want to sit outside. The WiFi was horrible & only worked in the living room. Definitely not on the balcony and sometimes in the rooms. Beds were not comfortable & it is a smoking apartment so there’s residue smells of cigarettes. Bathroom is EXTREMELY small with a shower space just enough for one adult to stand there. Honestly, you’re paying for just the views to stay here. It is a 25 minute walk to the center of Menaggio (you mostly walk on sidewalks next to the road and one path next to the tunnel).

Very friendly and cute hosts. the hostess gave us a ride by car to the center of Menaggio, for which we thank her very much. One of the best Aperol Sprits in pub on the 1rst flore. Amasing view from balkony. Recomend to visit.

The pictures are deceiving. The location is far away from the city center. The view in front of the lake is not something that will justify the price. This accommodation needs to be avoided.
