The hotel manager was really friendly and forthcoming. We loved that the room was very spacious, tidy and clean. The location of the hotel is also very good, as a lot of restaurants and shops are nearby.

There was no one present at reception at our arrival in the morning. We were forced to leave our luggage behind the reception desk with a note. Thank god, other guests of the hotel let us in, otherwise we would have been standing outside with no one there to let us in. Also, you only get one keycard for your room, which can be tricky since there isn't someone 24/7 at reception to let you in, in case of loss. Our room came with a hot tub, which is located in a small private room near the reception (entrance of the hotel). On the pictures, it's not clear that the hot tub is outside the bedroom. Therefore, it was a little disappointing for us, since we thought it would be in our room. This being said, we think that the high price we paid for one night, is not really justified. We had high expectations, which the hotel unfortunately could not live up to.

Two seperate rooms with elevator to bath (ok - but a bit hasle with key cards etc when you travel with kids).

This was one of the bigger rooms I stayed in during my 2 weeks in Japan. The extra space was really nice and the bathroom as well was one of the nicer ones with plenty of room. Definitely one of the most comfortable places I stayed during my trip

We had a wonderful stay at Gallery Hotel Kaguya! The room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating four large suitcases without feeling cramped. The location is also very good. A standout highlight was the hotel manager's kindness in arranging a baby bed for us as a personal favor—it made our stay much more convenient and stress-free. The hotel manager also assisted us in contacting the luggage transportation service to arrange the delivery of our bags to our next hotel in Tokyo. This thoughtful support made our travel plans much smoother and stress-free. Security at the hotel is excellent, with everything—from room access to facilities—managed through a secure hotel card system, giving us peace of mind throughout our stay. Overall, the attentive service, spacious accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting!

Our room came with access to a hot tub, which was located in a separate, private room near the reception. While we initially expected the tub to be inside our bedroom, the dedicated space turned out to be incredibly private, spacious, and relaxing, so it didn’t bother us at all.

Great location and value! Super quiet and convenient place to stay. We booked the upper floor room which came with a private soaking tub on the top floor. Yuto, our host was super friendly and met us at the reception office for checkin. Gave us suggestions for restaurants and sites to visit during our stay. Also assisted us with the forms to ship our luggage to our next hotel in Osaka. Highly recommend you check this place out for your next stay.
