"Superb"

We loved the generously sized room split over two floors with our own private hot tub bath and shower area. Finished to a very high standard and felt premium throughout, the staff were excellent and made us comfortable at all times during our stay. Walking distance to Nishiki Market and not far to connect to metro/JR lines either. Great place to stay in Kyoto.

Nothing at all! The only slightly unusual setup is needing to take an elevator from your main room to the private spa upstairs to take a shower!

"Spacious in Kyoto"

It is a small hotel but it is very beautiful and clean. The area is quiet and within a walking distance of a convenience store. The rooms were very spacious and the restroom was modern and sleek. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had different avenues of contacting them in case of anything

There isn't someone onsite until 10 am. It is understandable due to how small the hotel is. But the service was great and very helpful with securing transportation at check out that would accommodate multiple large luggage.

Everything was beautifully designed and well maintained, even during the off season for foreigners.

That we did not get to spend more time with the hotel manager! Great person and great recommendations for Kyoto.

"Relaxing place"

Really large and well-designed room. Extremely relaxing. The private onsen was really nice and easy to use. really nice shower in the room, toiletries were of high quality (Even by Japan's standards) Had complementary treats and tea from a local bakery.

The wall outlet above the bed couldn't fit a universal adapter and a charger.
