Beautiful hotel, stayed for 1 night and it was amazing. Tsukimi-no-yu bathroom was a great experience. Host was lovey and helpful. Would stay here again next time in Kyoto, highly recommend!!

Honestly, the host was the nicest person we met on our travels to Japan. We stayed in many hotels during our travels and this was the only one we ended up calling "home" at the end of each day. The host was gracious and kind and went out of his way to help me and my family. We needed to visit a doctor and he not only called to coordinate with the Japanese speaking doctor but came and paid cash for the medicine when we were unable to withdraw cash. He gave excellent suggestions and advice for restaurants, transportation and tourist destinations and greeted us with a warm and welcome smile each time we returned "home". Cannot recomend highly enough and would definintely stay there again if I am ever lucky enough to visit Kyoto again.

Everything was great, I truly have nothing to change.
