The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the central station. It is comfortable and clean. The owner kindly left us some cookies, so we were able to have some tea when we arrived late.

There wasn't much space for four people, but for that price it was a very good deal. It was hot inside, but the temperature could be regulated with the air conditioner.

We stayed in a 2nd-floor unit, likely because we booked almost 10 months in advance. The walk from Nagano Station is very easy—flat terrain and about 10 minutes even with luggage. The room is spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we did some light cooking during our stay. Mr. Yamaguchi is an excellent host—he prepared our room earlier than check-in and warmed it up in advance, which was greatly appreciated in winter. The two heaters were a real lifesaver. Laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are available on the 5th floor, and umbrellas are thoughtfully provided for rainy or snowy days. Mr. Yamaguchi’s responses were outstanding—almost instant whenever we needed help. The location is very convenient, with Lawson, 7-Eleven, izakayas, and the Nagaden train station all within a 10-minute walk. Seiyu supermarket nearby offers affordable and tasty bentos (around 300–900 yen). Compass is a great base for exploring Nagano, with easy access to Snow Monkey Park, Togakushi Shrine, Hakuba, and Zenkoji Temple. Our family of four truly enjoyed the stay—excellent location, great facilities, and a warm, helpful host. Highly recommended

Very good location, near the train station. The apartment is big, very practical and the price is reasonable. The host is very kind.

対応して頂いた方は丁寧に連絡を頂けたので良かったです。 建物自体は古いですが、内装はリノベーションされていたようなので綺麗でした。

・私の確認不足かも知れませんが、エレベーターが無かったのが、最初に驚きました。５階だったので。。。 ・扉を開けて、靴が置けるスペースがマットの上のみだったので、少し不便でした。 ・FreeWi-Fiは有難いのですが、PWのスペルが間違えていたので、少し戸惑いました。 ・自炊が出来るようでしたので、材料を持って行きました。スープを作ったのですが、お玉が無かったので大きなスプーンで代用しました。 ・湯船が無く、シャワーのみなのは、良いのですが、コンディショナーが無く、シャンプーのみには、びっくりしました。一緒に行った方な頂きました。 ・ 脱衣場はすごく広々として、小さ暖房も有り、良かったのですが、シャワーのスペースがとても狭かったので、少し不便でした。 写真のと撮り方上手いなぁーと思いました。。。

great location just a couple of minutes walk from the nagano main station. room was very spacious, and also had netflix to keep the kids entertained. host was super responsive and updated us when the room was ready for check in.

nothing i can think of, except would make a small suggestion to install more hooks for travellers to hang up their coats/jackets.

The place is spacious, cozy, clean and has all the equipment you need. We felt very homey. The host is super friendly & responds fast if you have any questions. The apartment is only 5 mins to nagano station and a great hub to discover the area (& do a day trip to the snow monkeys).

Appartement assez grand. Avec une cuisine et les équipements nécessaires (liquide vaisselle, serviette etc…) même un four !!
