It wasn’t clean, i couldn’t even use the bathroom. When sending money the owner was so impatient which i understand but didn’t look good. The door was being knocked by staff almost every hour which was quite annoying. No privacy

The location was good. The welcoming was good. The guards were helpful.

About two hours after we had checked in, I stepped out of the apartment with my guest. The cleaning lady approached us and immediately started speaking Swahili to my guest. I told here to talk to me.Then she asked if we were checking out, even though we had just arrived. I told her, “no, we’re not checking out,” and also told her again to speak to me, as I was the one who had rented the place, since she several times went back to talk swahili with my guest. Still, it felt like she didn’t take me seriously. It seemed like she assumed we were there for a hookup—which is none of her business. Her behavior was inappropriate, unprofessional, and made us uncomfortable. Later, at the gate, some men made disrespectful comments and called my guest malaya (prostitute). I don’t know if they were connected to the apartment or just chatting with the gate staff, but either way, it was unacceptable. The guards should have intervened. In the morning, the same cleaning lady banged on the door five minutes before check-out and shouted “check out,” then repeated it again exactly at 10 a.m. It was rude and unnecessarily aggressive. I definitely won’t be coming back.
