Johari Suites and Shared Studio Westlands

Overcharged with high conversion rate while paying in local currency. Host agreed to late check out by an hour but did not keep their word. The room had shared washroom which was very frequently used by the maids which was disturbing and unacceptable. Our privacy was also hampered. Suggesting not to stay with the property.

It was clean.

We arrived exhausted after 12 hours of travel from Shimoni. It took longer to find the place than expected as the google maps link was incorrect and the street has two plots with the number 24. When we finally arrived, the lady who opened up from us (who was nice and just doing her job for the record!), asked us for cash to pay for the room. We weren’t aware that we needed cash (there was no message to inform us before) and didn’t have any on hand. We spoke to the owner on the phone who rudely told us we had to pay right away, and that he wouldn’t accept payment the following day. So we had to go back out and organise cash. The lack of sensitivity towards our tiredness and the rudeness of our welcome set a sour note for our stay. The apartment was okay. Fine for a night stay. However there was no fan (we requested one but they didn’t have) and no mosquito net and it was very hot in the night and we got chowed by mosquitoes. There was a problem with the flush of the toilet as well. And it was very loud due to construction next door and thin walls between neighbouring flats.

i paid for 3 nights. i lost my mum and had to leave after day 1 i asked for a refund of 2 nights but i was never refunded the money

The place is full of mosquitoes, the bathroom is shared, I could hear what was going on next door it was just disgusting!
