Riga Old Town Souvenir Apartment

Wonderful location, in the old city centre, close to everything. Very good communication with the host, always nice and quick to answer. Apartment clean and renovated. The building is old which is normal since it is located in the old city.

Great location, so close by to all sightseeing activities and great locations. While it is near some great bars, you cannot hear them from the apartment and is very quiet!

It could have been slightly warmer and the bathroom a little bit cleaner. There were extras heaters in the apartment for warmth but it was still a little bit cold.

Excellent location, all facilities available, great communication from the host.

The apartment needs a little freshening up. It was not a problem for us but you have to prepare to climb to the fourth floor as no lift.

Location was nice

I booked this place particularly to be able to take a bath. The water in the boiler was not enough to fill the bath with warm water completely and also it was not enough to rinse after. The owner suggested to switch regimes in boiler but also another regime didn't help. Considering that Riga has plenty of options, there are pretty many other accomodation opportunities for the same price and in the old town location. If not the bath I would rather book a hotel with the breakfast at the lower price. It made me feel foolish, like if I paid for the service that wasn't provided. Also apartment itself is pretty cold. There were a heater but it was not very much warmer. Also I didn't like that the place wasn't really prepared. The place has gas cooker but there were no matches and the lighter was empty so I had to buy matches. Electrical cattle didn't open up so it was suspicious to use. It is my 3rd time in Riga and so far the worst accomodation.

location was perfect, although we struggle to find it at first, but this was our fault really. Large spacious apartment and great communication with the owner.

hob had a few loose buttons and the spark didn't work so needed to use matches, no major issue as this was supplied and we cooked only on one ring so for most wouldn't cause an issue unless you planned to cook on alot of the cooker rings. Would have liked a proper duvet rather than sheets for beds but we managed fine and there were spares bedding items in the wardrobe I believe.

This property is a total Gem! Right in the heart of the restaurant and bar area. Soundproof with windows closed. Full kitchen and lovely spacious room.

The pillows were quite lumpy and could be replaced. I would also have liked a top sheet on the bed as there was only a fitted sheet. Also my booking said we were on the first floor and we were on the 4th. Though for the price this was a great place.
