Wonderful space for a small family. The twin bed is tucked in a corner for a little bit of separation from the rest of the room. The location of the apartment is perfect, walking distance to everything!

There is plenty of space, modern style, and a great spot with everything being close by or short walking distance. Highly recommended 👌

Bed was very comfortable, the best we have slept in Japan. We love having the washing machine. The location was fantastic. The Suite was very clean and spacious and the bathroom was a dream

Great location and apartment with kitchen and fantastic facilities. However, due to its central location it gets very noisy. At night, people loiter in front of the building and create a lot of noise. If you are a light sleeper this is not for you. It is in front of the pedestrian crossing so every time people cross the road you will hear the tweeting from traffic lights. In addition it was the same floor as a teppanyaki restaurant so the smell do tend to get into the apartment.

Very nice big room, perfect location, very convenient shopping. Wonderful bath and kitchen, TV had youtube. The host was very kind and responded to our questions quickly.

Two pillows each would be great, bigger bath towels too. One of the beds was too hard. The instructions for the bath were a bit challenging to understand.

The hosts went above what is usually expected. Due to a medical condition my husband became unable to walk while in Japan. Before moving from Tokyo to Kyoto we contacted Gion Suites for assistance in buying a wheelchair. They called around and located a store where we could purchase one. We spent five nights in these apartments. They are located next to Maruyama Park which contains many temples and beautiful scenery. They are also close to many other sights, shops, restaurants, and public transportation, with a Family Mart steps away. The apartments are comfortable with enough room to move around. Yes, the shower is in the kitchen, probably due to plumbing limitations, but there is a wooden door between the kitchen and the rest of the apartment so it wasn’t an issue for us. The entire family enjoyed our stay at Gion Suites.

location was brilliant room was amazing and really funky the viewing window down onto the main corner was always entertaining for the kids

as a family of 4 the sofa/bed was pretty hard but my 11 year old daughter slept well enough Don’t leave your door unlocked as there is a wine bar next door and some of there customers opened our door by mistake once All in all still loved the place

Minimalistic design. State of the art toilet and bathroom. Comfortable. Convenient location. Prompt response from the property when contacted re: specific issues.

There was a distinct cigarette smoke smell in the kitchen area. The google map link was confusing. Even the taxi driver and the people around that we asked were pointing towards the park area. Just make sure to open the other links sent by the Airbnb as there is a photo of the building. There were 3 sets of towels and 1 set was dirty and smelly-they were folded up on the bed though.
