Central Valletta Townhouse

Great location, secure building, clean rooms, all the amenities you need in a great location, easy to walk to central Valetta and the ferry and bus terminals.

Great stay

The location of the property is wonderful; it's central to all the sites and restaurants, with a view of the harbor from the front door. The apartment is comfortably furnished, with a good bed and shower and all expected kitchen appliances. We especially appreciated the full size refrigerator and freezer. The neighborhood felt safe, and there was a small grocery store around the block. Instructions for accessing the apartment were very clear and easy to follow.

The AC unit didn't work; we reported the issue as soon as we got into the space. We were told to unplug the unit and try again - but it's a unit mounted into the wall high up, with no electrical cord - and we were surprised the owner didn't know that. They told us that the error code meant it would require professional attention - we were there 5 days and nobody came to fix the AC, nor were we offered a fan or other option. The same was true for the exhaust fan in the bathroom; when we reported that issue, we didn't get a response. The most problematic issue was that we were traveling and had a lot of trouble getting the hefty security deposit to go through - and we were offered no help except to contact our bank (but it wasn't an issue with our bank). We couldn't find an appropriate phone number or email for the office and were just lucky that, eventually, after close to 4 hours of trying multiple strategies we were able to get the deposit made. I don't understand why the security deposit wasn't charged at the time of rental and why the credit card on file for payment couldn't just have been used for the deposit.

TV not working, Wi-Fi signal very low, inaccessibility to the balcony (there is no outside space to dry clothes and towels), no drying rack available and the kitchen could have been more equipped

Easy instructions, nice location and clean

There is a grate in front of the property with no cover unlike properties next to it so it meant we had to be careful when locking the door in fear of dropping the keys. We added a attachments to the keys so if we did accidentally drop them it wouldn't fall down the grate and be stuck outside

The location was very good. Only problem was there was a hotel across the road which was a little noisy late at night. Layout of the apartment was good.

The bed and lounge furniture were uncomfortable. The TV would turn on but we could only get audio despite having 3 remotes. There is a washing machine but absolutely nowhere to dry clothes!! Iron wouldn't plug into any of the British style plugs. No microwave!

There were cockroaches in the kitchen…

The location was perfect in the heart of Valetta at a walking distance of all the attractions, restaurants and férfira to Gozo and the three cities. The flat was well equipped and clean.

There was nothing not to like about the property. The wi-fi was not very reliable but that seems to be a common issue on Malta.

The setting was perfect two minutes from the waterside and ferry to Sliema. Quiet residential area with close access to restaurants and bars around the centre of town. The apartment itself is clean modern and well equipped. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for a holiday apartment.
