Central Valletta Townhouse

The setting was perfect two minutes from the waterside and ferry to Sliema. Quiet residential area with close access to restaurants and bars around the centre of town. The apartment itself is clean modern and well equipped. I would have no hesitation in recommending this for a holiday apartment.

Loved everything about it

The apartment was very spacious and modern, as well as the location being very central and extremely accessible. Everything was very clean and even had some toiletries provided. We did not use the kitchen however it appeared to be well fitted out with fridge, freezer, oven and a hob. Very spaces seating area too. The shower was a great waterfall shower and the water was always hot with good pressure. There is a large vanity in the bedroom perfect for getting ready at. There looks to be a good hairdryer (much better than a standard travel one) however we did not use it. The wardrobe in the bedroom had plenty of hangers and an iron/ironing board. Unfortunately the iron did not work upon arrival but we notified the agent so hopefully this is fixed. The bed was a little stiff for my liking but I am very picky with mattresses (mine is soft memory foam), but a good bit of padding would fix it. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay, it was central enough to get to the centre easily and quickly but be totally away from the bar/nightlife noise. A beautiful view of the sea from the front door too.

The only thing we did not like is not something Sweetstay have control over; unfortunately the downstairs neighbour has a nervous border collie that is kept on the balcony overnight, resulting in it barking and growling at anything that moves (ie. a lot). Toward the end of our stay with multiple disrupted nights (due to their balcony being situated directly under the apartments bedroom balcony) we found that if we made enough noise about the situation the owner took it inside, however still highly irritating!

the location was amazing.

the internet was horrible, even my data could not work properly in the bedroom, not talking about their wifi. the hot water was enough for one person to take shower, for the second one was almost cold.

Good location with up and down streets and local charm. Lot of public attractions, restaurants/bars, parks and main bus station/ferry terminal in walking distance. Quiet and peaceful. Helpful and quick Sweetstay stuff when assistance needed.

Everyhing was OK.

Great location, away from the noise of the bars. The facilities were clean and very comfortable.

For the price there could be more coffee capsules left (there was only for two cups), also it would be great to find some table water in the fridge. The shower necessities (shampoo, ect.) were left only for men, good thing I had some of my own. Also, some more connectors for the EU plug would be great (there was only one working, used by the bedside lapm). Otherwise, everything was great.
