Myrtle Suite - Authentic Valletta Experience

We loved the bohemian style, the attention to detail in blending the old with the new and the care towards preserving history. Martin and Raisa made everything feel like home, there was even food in the fridge and they filled up the water bottles when we needed it. The small indoor garden is a little blessing and we also met Effie, the large loving pink-nosed tomcat ☺️ The location in Valletta is on a quiet street and the bus stop is near by, so you can get everywhere you want on the island. Shops and restaurants are close and many.

We were met by Martin and made to feel very welcome and that if we needed anything we were to just ask and it wouldn't be a problem. We really didn't need anything because Martin and Raisa had already thought of everything, we thoroughly enjoyed Malta and it all started from our accommodation.

Perfect location for the city being a 5 minute walk yet quiet and relaxing inside whether during the day or night. What a find! Rustic, charming, authentic, everything I wanted was within the apartment. Loved it!

Really good location in Valetta. 5 minute walk to city centre, buses, shops, restaurants etc. 10 minute walk to boats. Apartment had everything we needed and a really nice welcome hamper.

Raisa & Martin were excellent hosts. They were thoughtful with their preparations of the apartment and the information they gave us during our stay were really helpful!

Everything, the location, the facilities, the nice welcome pack and surprise birthday card for my husband from the owners. It's the perfect place to stay in Valletta, we highly recommend it. You also get to use a perfect little garden for your morning coffee in this traditional stone house with beautiful furniture and modern amenities. Keep in mind that being a traditional stone building close to the water there is a specific smell from the humidity but they do provide a dehumidifier that works very well and lovely home perfumes through the rooms.

What we didn't know was that there is no door between the bedroom and bathroom, which might be a problem if you are shy. We didn't mind it much as we've been married for enough years and know each other well but for a new couple it might be a bit strange.

Feel safe, in a quiet neighborhood. Nice homely place. Easy check in.
