Glass roof private loft in Tromsø

Proximity to the city centre. Lovely view. Had everything you needed. Close to grocery store. Would stay again.

Nothing. Obviously the roof slope is a bit annoying at times, but it is a loft after all so that is to be expected.

The glass roof of the loft is definitely the highlight of the stay. Relaxing on the couch under the open sky is great! The location is good as it is close enough to the city center so that you can walk, but also a bit outside of the hustle and bustle.

The couch in the loft has a lot of stains on it and the mattress in the bedroom is very very soft. The roof of the loft limits movement and we did (silly enough) hit our heads on the roof a number of times, not being use to a low roof.

The view is totally beyond my expectation! Sitting on the comfortable sofa bed, you can see the Arctic Ocean, snow-capped mountains, beautiful buildings in the city and all kinds of beautiful birds. It is worth mentioning that the glass room is not cold at all, it is very warm and comfortable!

Amazing view of Tromso. Warm cozy apartment. As a solo traveller chose to sleep on sofa to wake up to view.

We read some blogs and came across this apartment. Unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. The bedroom is extremely compact and sadly there are no clear pictures of the bedroom online to make a conscious decision. The washroom was stinking badly of sewer which eventually spilt over to the bedroom. The only good part was the glass room with nice views of the mountain and fjord, but we could not enjoy it much since it was snowing for days and glass was covered with snow from the outside. We were even told by the host that the only balcony in the apartment was closed for the entire winter season since it was snowing in Tromsø for days. We would’ve appreciated a heads up. The kitchen was nice and was stocked with basics. The heating was good. All in all I will not return to this apartment again.

The location was good within an easy walk of Tromso town centre.

Unfortunately, the sloping ceiling did severely restrict room in the bedroom, understandable in a loft apartment but not to this extent.

The Glass roof gives a good view to the city.

We had a Norway trip with around 20 different accommodations and this apartment was the worst of all (and the most expensive). -When we arrived, the apartment was really freezing cold, the heater was turned off (around 0 outside). The owner helped to turn them on, but it took around 2hours to heat up to 21-22celsius. -We tried to survive with a hot shower, but after 8 minutes there was no hot water at all. -Drying towels and a Christmas tree in the kitchen area (in the middleGlass roof with huge disappointments of October). I definitely do not recommend this place, although the glass roof is good, there are far better places with half the price.
