Nordic Host - City Center 2 Bed / 2 Bath - Skippergata - 3 minutes from station

Basically no windows and no cabinet in the small room.

Unbelievably great location - just a few minutes from the central station. Overnight in the heart of the city. The objects of interest to us - the Opera house, the Munch Museum are within easy reach. Since our stay was very short, we used public transport - to Vigeland Park or the coast. It was very useful the Oslo pass paid for free visits to many museums and other cultural sites, and also free public transport. We felt at home in the apartments, 100 percent comfort. Quiet, closed yard.

No complaints - we are satisfied with everything.

The location was perfect. The train station is close by and the metro and subway too. The apartment having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was a big plus in choosing this apartment. The key pick up was pain free.

One of the showers wasn’t working well with there being a breakage in the connection and water splattering everywhere on to the rest of the bathroom making it really slippery. More water was spraying out of the break than from the shower head. Had to put used (less than bath sized) towels on the floor No exhaust in this bathroom either. And the extra pillows which my husband had to were yellowed with age with no covers. I emailed the owner about the shower on the same night we arrived. No joy. I emailed the next day and Shaun nothing. The best part is that the above can be fixed without it breaking the back but there seems to be no will to do the same. I feel that a partial refund is fair really.

The location was great. Only 3 minutes from train station and lots of eateries close by.

Bedrooms were very tiny and quite a walk to pick up the key.

Pick up key at property lockbox instead of grocery store. Bathroom basin too small and perhaps improvised on the cleanliness.

A main open living/kitchen area, with 2 separate bedrooms; each bedroom with its own bath...it was perfect for a family that needs some space and privacy. It was very close to the central train station, and the sights, and the saunas...great location if you want to be close to city center!

At best it's ok if you're on a budget and need to be in the centre (although you don't need to be as the tram and bus service across the city is fantastic), we booked at short notice so had limited choice but wish we'd spent the extra for a nicer place. Kitchen facilities and en suites are fine. Key pick up from shop a few hundred metres away not as convenient as other places we've stayed but was ok.

Main entrance area smells of urine, inner courtyard area unpleasant - definitely not somewhere you'd want to sit in contrast to the photos - musty smelling bed linen and pillows, very small living space, all windows locked shut so no ventilation, freezer in bedroom which we unplugged but noisy ventilator right outside the bedroom window too.
