"Nice area and neighbourhood in Ōmokoroa, just not a nice place to stay"

Property was close to the Ōmokoroa shopping centre. It was a nice quiet neighbourhood.

House was very untidy and not clean. There were a lot of spiders when we first entered. The host was accommodating to help clear these and other insects. The shower was in dire need of maintenance and cleaning. It smelled of mildew, mould was present along the shower hose, the shower slide bar, in the shower-head and the shower dome above. Also it was a little weird having a locked door, which lead to another property, made me feel uncomfortable so I stacked up my luggage by this door. Parking was very tight for a SUV vehicle, sorry to say I would not return or recommend this place.

"Not a good experience"

The location was great

The location of the property was great, and check-in went very smoothly. However, the property itself was extremely dirty. The fridge, kettle, toaster, corners of the house, bathroom shower, and many other areas were unclean and unusable. Additionally, the house was missing a stovetop, though one was provided after speaking with the host. We had booked this property with the intention of cooking, but due to the overall uncleanliness, we decided to order takeout instead. On top of that, the WiFi connection was very poor, and neither of our phones could connect. We tried connecting the TV to keep our one-year-old entertained, but that also failed. When we raised the issue with the host, we were told that something must be wrong with our phones.

"I relaxing place"

A beautiful place with shops and beach nearby. Host left the key in lockbox because we were arriving late.

I would have appreciated an oven but it does have a microwave and toaster and jug

"Location to village was great."

Perfect location great space for a couple, host was lovely

Not very clean, shower was very dirty and bathroom sink was very small, hard to brush your teeth without hitting your head on mirror. Old food was left in fridge probably from last guests.

We loved our 2 nights at 2 owen place. Friendly, hospitable, and accommoding. Offered extra sleeping packs and an amazing suggestion for chinese take aways down the road. Highly recommend for an easy stay.
