Sycamore Villa, 2 bedroom apartment

Very dirty oven. Hot water took ages to get to taos. Front door strip broken. Put a towel there to stop draft. Heat pump very noisy. Damp smell .

We stayed for 3 nights. The location is fantastic on top of a hill. A short walk treated us to fantastic views of the city and the water. The house was easy to find. Parking was off street and we didn't need to struggle to find parking. The rooms and beds were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was great as well with products left for us to use. Milk and chocolates were left for us which were very welcome. The place was really spacious and wasn't noisy at all. Lovely views from the windows especially as the place is at a height. Lots of powerpoints and switches. Fairly close to shops, restaurants and the city. Ken And Suzanne were easy to communicate with. Would love to stay here again if we have the chance.

It was such a good stay. If I really had to pick an area of improvement, it would be the presence of a few spiders and if something could be done to manage that, would be great.

The 2 bedroom apartment is great for the price! Nice and spacious living room & bedrooms. Modern bathroom. Great location near the city centre. Special thanks to our hosts who made us feel welcome 🙂

Easy access, tidy, everything you could need. Lots of tea and coffee options, anything you would need to cook with was there.. Decent size apartment. Warm once the heat pump got cranking. Heaters in bedroom which keep the chill away and electric blankets on bed, extra blankets for people like me who like lots of weight on top of them. Bathroom renovated and modern.

Bed was a touch hard; nothing a mattress topper wouldn't fix.

Great little hideaway apartment was great for what we needed for our overnight quick stay. We were traveling with a trailer and they coned a parking area for us. We needed a flat surface to park as we are not experienced with hill parking. Well equipped, very warm and welcoming, and very quick on responding to your messages and filling requests. We will come back again

Noisy bathroom fan took a while to go off but not a big problem.

large bedrooms, lovely shower with good water pressure. beds were comfortable. small but workable kitchen with all amenities. toilet separate and at the top of 3 or 4 stairs (my kids thought this was brilliant)! they had the heat turned on for us when we arrived, at our request - thank you. but it is a very noisy unit, so we turned it off while watching tv. milk and cold water waiting for us in fridge. tea/coffee/sugar/lollies available for us. lovely little touch.

the apartment is builtin under another house. the stairs navigating down to apartment were a little slippery and not well lit up until we turned on the outdoor light. took us a few goes to get the door unlocked - it needed some force to open. TV wouldnt turn up very loud, but still watchable. couches were comfortable. if it was warmer, i would have opened up the windows a bit more to air out the apartment (had a slightly musty smell - i am also sensitive to smells and this didnt bother the rest of my family).
