Close enough to walk into town and to beach, ferries etc. (but it is a steep very steep hill to the accommodation so be aware). Well equipped kitchen and very handy to have washing machine and a drying line just outside. Car parking was close to apartment which was very handy although the parking spot was a bit tight for a large car.

The check-in was a bit stressful. Entry was via an access code, which is only sent out 24 hours prior. If you are travelling on holiday (particularly from overseas) you do not necessarily have access to wi-fi/internet for picking up this information. You may also not have a NZ SIM card. This does not just apply to this property but to many booking.com bookings. Luckily I did have access to an NZ SIM card and was able to phone the contact number where the lady was very helpful but surprised to hear that I had not picked up the PIN details that had been sent earlier. It was only after I got the details over the phone and was able to get into the apartment and access its wi-fi that the messages came through. This whole process is not very well thought out.

The water pressure in the shower started well then tailed off - difficult to wash conditioner out of hair.

The apartment was great for our little family surrounded by native Bush High ip in the hills. 5mins from the beaches and town centre.

The arvo heat hit the apartment and there was no ac on the heatpump but we went swimming everyday around that time..so not too bad

We loved the quantity of towels, hand towels, beach towels, face cloths, the kitchen had everything we could ever want. Even a washing machine - we didn't need to use it.

Nothing. It was a great place to stay.
