Relaxing Sea Wharf View Apartment by Zodiak Stays

Perfect beach house vibe

The location was amazing. Easy walk into the city, Spark Arena, Wynyard Quarter etc. Apartment had great space and facilities. Carparking on site was reasonable, we just had to move the car to the Downtown Carpark on our last night due to the Auckland Marathon, but that was a quick walk up the street :)

Everything was amazing, however the air con unit didn't seem to cool the apartment down, though we could leave the slider open at night. The bed was extremely hard, and the husband ended up with a sore back.

The view!! Apartment is very spacious, luxurious, clean and well equipped. Our communication with Zodiak Properties was exceptional!

Limited public parking and costs!

The location was amazing; being to walk out the front door and have the viaduct right there was a real bonus. The apartment itself had almost everything we needed, was warm and comfortable with great views. We loved the big couch for lounging on and the way the bedroom doors folded back so we could see the view. Having a dining room table was a bonus. Despite being in such a central location, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, and was very warm.

The bathroom was quite small and in need of some maintanance. The kitchen, while really spacious and well stocked, was looking a bit tired also.

Location - brilliant location, great views, close to the central Auckland area, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, access to ferries. The property has the potential to be an awesome stay.

Was disappointed with the level maintenance done on the apartment. It really needs a deep clean. The grime around the taps, cracked tiles and mould in the shower, mould and weeds growing on the balcony, soft furnishings with large stains. Lots of general maintenance issues, mostly small but there were a few- some random cupboard doors leaning against a wall, the dishwasher didn't work, the tv set-up didn't work at all, cracked tiles and fittings in the bathroom, clothes dryer with a high pitched whine. In the end we booked out early. I hadn't planned to put all the details in this review but I had emailed the property information and didn't receive any reply.

Breakfast not supplied, great location

Lack of property maintenance. Heatpump did not work, extract fan in bathroom did not work. Shower rose needs fixing, mould on shower walls, could not get any local stations on the TV

We loved the spacious warm apartment, kitchen and laundry amenities and the comfortable furnishings. Felt very secure and safe. Wifi was good too. Lots of places to sit down and enjoy spectacular sea views. The night-time Auckland harbour bridge light show was delightful. We loved the central location, handy to everything including waterfront runs along Tamaki Drive. Communication with the property management staff was the best I've experienced, fast and responsive.

Loved the view and room was very spacious

Didn’t like having to find the right place and key box when tired after long day of traveling. Be lovely if someone was there to show You where to go.
