Wunderschöne Lage, sehr persönlich eingerichtet mit vielen Kunstobjekten, einer phänomenalen Aussicht auf Funchal und das Meer. Liebevoll angelegter Garten mit schönen Ecken zum Entspannen. Sehr nette Vermieter.

Very nice and welcoming host, nice view over the city and a cute little place to stay

Bathroom is a bit small, the bed was on the hard side but still fine. The neighbors dog barking all night was quite annoying, so better keep the windows closed.

"Interessanter Urlaub im Paradies Madeira."

Die Lage mitten im Wohngebiet bei den Locals hat uns sehr gefallen und der besonders schöne Blick vom Hang aufs Meer, auch die preiswerten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (Supermarkt und Bäcker). Schöner sauberer Pool. Sehr netter Kontakt zum Vermieter mit persönlichen Tips für die Gegend.

In dem historischen Gemäuer ist es klimatisch schwierig, unten ist es im Winter recht kalt und man keinen Ausblick. Umso schöner ist der Blick vom Bett aus in der oberen Etage. Die Raumluft verursacht einen typischen Geruch und mußte mit einem Gerät getrocknet werden, Heizung und Klimaanlage haben gut funktioniert.

Super emplacement permettant d'accéder rapidement à des randos en 1 heure maxi;

La cuisine pourrait être plus fournie en couverts et il faudrait changer les poêles. Le canapé est un peu mou.

"Lovely village apartment!"

Very nice accommodation, lovely big comfortable bed 🤩. Washing machine very useful. Excellent information from Luiz, very friendly people. The pool was lovely - had a swim every morning- twice on our last day. Local people were very friendly and helpful- especially when the bus route got diverted for a ‘classic car’ show in the village square! Brilliant local supermarket with very helpful staff- and wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables as well as excellent butcher’s and very good prices- as Luiz told us 😊.

Bedroom a little hot and stuffy at night, but we don’t use Air conditioning- don’t like the noise and the energy it uses! Kettle was a bit erratic in use - had to wiggle it around a bit to work. Nothing major though. Beware if you don’t like church bells- they chime even quarter hour! However they stop late evening and start again at 7am(good wake up call).
