Super emplacement permettant d'accéder rapidement à des randos en 1 heure maxi;

La cuisine pourrait être plus fournie en couverts et il faudrait changer les poêles. Le canapé est un peu mou.

Very nice accommodation, lovely big comfortable bed 🤩. Washing machine very useful. Excellent information from Luiz, very friendly people. The pool was lovely - had a swim every morning- twice on our last day. Local people were very friendly and helpful- especially when the bus route got diverted for a ‘classic car’ show in the village square! Brilliant local supermarket with very helpful staff- and wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables as well as excellent butcher’s and very good prices- as Luiz told us 😊.

Bedroom a little hot and stuffy at night, but we don’t use Air conditioning- don’t like the noise and the energy it uses! Kettle was a bit erratic in use - had to wiggle it around a bit to work. Nothing major though. Beware if you don’t like church bells- they chime even quarter hour! However they stop late evening and start again at 7am(good wake up call).

Very friendly and chilled host. Nice location with local shops, bakery and restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay here. The views over Funchal are amazing from the terrace, and the pool is lovely at any time. Facilities are good, and pretty much everything you'd need in terms of restaurants and shops is close by. Luiz is a great host and we'd love to stay here again someday.
