Sintra Chalet

The location is great. Right next to the train station and lots of parking space near by.

Honestly, I had high expectations for this property and it disappointed. Our check in time was at 3pm. We arrived at 3:15pm and the cleaner was still there, lots of garbage bags in front of the apartment and the cleaner was on the phone to her friend and not doing much. The beds were not made. They only left at around 3:45/4:00pm. We lost an hour. After they left we realised there were no toilet papers. Thankfully it was sorted out quickly. The rooms are smaller than they appear on the pictures. The dishwasher was a nightmare to work. It had to be re-plugged every time we needed to use it. The plumbing system is so bad that it gave off a putrid smell from the toilet. The kitchen plumbing system was really bad. We had water leaking from the pipes. The garbage drawer would hit the pipes and so we couldn’t close it fully. Which stank up the whole place.

Conveniently located near the train station but on a quiet block with nice bright rooms and comfortable beds. Being located steps away from the Salud Brunch Cafe was a bonus for great coffee and breakfast.

Great location! Close to town but not in the middle of it all.

As lovely as the building is I do think the owners need a little up do on it. The towels, bedding and furniture seemed a bit too used.

Location is wonderful and big space inside.

The room has serious acoustic problem, I could hear each footstep from upper floor/also details of talking, it was very annoying. NOT recommend for who wants to sleep early.
