Formosa Infinity Pool Apartment

Very clean, well maintained and stocked kitchen and laundry room. Gets the sun in the mornings on one side and evenings on the other side Good location for restaurants, supermarket and bus stop. Bolt App (like Uber) worked very well, much quicker than the buses. The owner, Iri was very helpful when I called upon late arrival. She guiding me over the phone, through the gated compound, into the apartment and garage with a dedicated parking space and lift straight to the room. The Parque Almirante Reis (underground car park) in Funchal is easy to navigate to and ideally situated. I was here over Christmas and saw seven days of sunshine, with the occasional shower at altitude. I would highly recommend his apartment.

Perfect place to have a comfortable vacation, apartment us well equipped , comfortable bed and good warer presdure in the shower. Location is superb with easy access to beautiful farmosa beach and main roads for exploring the rest of the island. The infinity pool in the apartment complex is fantastic and never too busy. The view from it is breathtaking. Having a parking spot is a great bonus. Communication with the host Iri was easy, very clear, and pleasant.

Just a recommendation that maybe in the hotter months, the aircon would be a good addition to comfort - but it was not a problem for us in November

L'appartement est grand, propre, fonctionnel et très bien situé, aux limites de Funchal et à portée de marche du joli village touristique de Camara de Lobos par la plage. La piscine avec vue sur les couchers de soleil est magnifique et bien entretenue. Nous avons accepté l'offre de transfert de l'aéroport à 30 euros à notre arrivée, qui incluait la remise des clés et quelques explications par le chauffeur. Iri la charmante propriétaire nous a offert un service exceptionnel, avec de nombreux conseils concernant les commerces autour, les activités, la ville et les meilleurs restaurants et cafés (Viana !). Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu la rencontrer car elle était malade, mais nos conversations téléphoniques et textes étaient franchement cordiales. Elle était disponible en tout temps. Le transport en commun de Funchal est extrêmement pratique. Les services (épicerie, pharmacie, café, ...) sont à proximité. Notez que nous avions réservé une voiture au départ, mais nous l'avons finalement annulée car les tours avec guide et/ou chauffeur (essayez l'application GetYourGuide !), le transport en commun et Bolt (l'équivalent Uber des Açores et de Madère) sont très abordables et pratiques. Et on a marché. Beaucoup marché. À Madère, on est toujours dans une pente, les mollets sont très sollicités ! :-) On recommande cet appartement sans hésiter.

L'appartement n'est pas climatisé et il a fait chaud pendant notre séjour. On le savait d'avance cependant, et l'apart était pourvu de deux ventilateurs de plancher efficaces qu'on déplaçait au gré de nos besoins. Vraiment un très minime désagrément en considérant la qualité des autres éléments.

Fabulous apartment in a central location, short bus ride into Funchal or the nearby town of Camera de Lobos. Gorgeous infinity pool with a view of the mountains. Lovely host who was contactable throughout for recommendations.

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and the location was great with the beach close by and public transportation right in front of the apartment. Iri is an amazing host —always responsive and helped with transfers and tours. Would definitely stay here again.

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und hat alles was man braucht. Sie wird anfangs persönlich übergeben, alles gezeigt und man bekommt zusätzlich noch super Insider-Tipps von der Eigentümerin, speziell was das Essengehen angeht. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und bei Fragen bekommt man schnellstmöglich eine Antwort. Es gab zwei Balkone, einen beim Wohnzimmer, einen beim Schlafzimmer, von denen man jeden Abend den Sonnenuntergang anschauen kann und morgens mit Blick aufs Meer aufwacht.

The apartment was very clean and perfect for our needs. The pool was fabulous. Our host Iri was just lovely and went out of her way to help us, which was much appreciated after problems with our arrival flight.

Location is around 3 miles from Funchal old town, but it is an easy journey via bus or taxi / uber
