Formosa Infinity Pool Apartment

The pictures and words don't describe the apartment well. It is a huge, wonderful apartment with two huge balconies and a peaceful setting, with all the equipments. It is a guarded area, with security 24/7. We had an Infinity Pool all to ourselves as it was hardly used at the time. To walk down to the beach only took us 5 minutes. There is a bus stop next to our apartment which takes you to the center of Funchal in about 10 - 12 minutes. We had two amazing supermarkets both a 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There were two amazing coffee places right across the street to our apartment. One thing I want to gladly mention was the host Irina. She made our stay the most comfortable and lovable ever. She even took her time to show us around Madeira on an island tour. If I needed any equipment or utilities, she dropped it off. She arranged our pick up and drop off to the airport which was great for us. The only thing I know is that if I come back to Madeira I am only choosing this apartment for our next stay.

Walking distance to Funchal. Bus connections, nice restaurants nearby and close.to the beach. And a quiet neighbourhood. And last but not least the warm welcome by Iri and loads of information she shared.

Amazing location, beautiful and cozy apartament, underground parking space and everything you need if you come and visit Madeira and do a lot of hiking and walks. Irina, our host, was such a sweetheart! After we booked the apartment, we found out she was romanian, like us, and she treated us amazing and gave us a looot of tips and tricks about Madeira. But we are sure that she treats all her guests this good.

We can't think of anything we didn't like.

Situated in a quiet location with two balconies with views of both the sea and nearby cliffs and landscapes. Immaculate condition and contained everything we needed, also with a pool for chilling and a gym if that’s your thing. There was private parking below the building and the host was very easy to contact and ensured we were comfortable.

Nothing serious, a welcome pack and/or email would have helped but the host added a personal touch by doing this all via text. Something to maybe consider in the future for those who aren’t so keen on contact with the host.

Apartment has amazing view, nice neighborhood, it is big, clean, new and have everything you might need during stay. We fall in love with the pool (which is empty for most time 😄). Also it is close to the beach, bus stop, restaurants and coffee shop. There is a parking space in the underground parking. The host, Irina, is very nice, helpful and friendly. If we come back to Madeira, we will definitely stay here again! ❤️

Tho host was a beautiful woman, careful and very helpful. All her recommandations were useful. She communicaded on WhatsApp immediatey, solved everything immediately. She was the most beautiful host we have ever met.

I couldn’t be happier with the location, the place we stayed in was so clean and cosy. Iri the owner of the apartment couldn’t have been any more informative. She was very helpful and made everything so easy. The apartment was clean from top to bottom, the beds were super comfy, the apartment is very spacious. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in. The pool was amazing and what a perfect view! Everything worked perfectly and the balcony, wow!

Nothing I didn’t like

The accommodation was clean and equipped with the necessary equipment. :) Our host Iri helped us with everything and she was always available. :) Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

The apartment was beautifully presented, especially the lounge area. The 2 balconies were spacious with amazing views. Parking was easy and secure. Iri was a truly incredible host who answered all of our questions thoroughly and quickly.

We were greeted by our host who took the time to explain everything. She was very caring and provided us with some nice restaurants in the vincinity along with some more information concerning our stay. We were even provided with a welcoming cool bottle of champagne! Private parking spot in a closed garage underneath the apartment (which, we were told by people we met, is somewhat of a biggie in Funchal), comfy bed, overall very clean and well-maintained apartment. This goes for the entire buiding, pool and garage by the way. Downtown Funchal was just 15 minutes by bus (€1,90 one-way) with a stop right in front of the building. Mall with large supermarket within just a minutes drive. The pool was great, beautiful views from the edge! Our host gave us her phone number and she almost immediately responded to our questions. Thank you so much for providing us with such a beautiful apartment, it surely ticked all the boxes. We won't hesitate for a bit to book here again!

The central place around the apartments proved to be a bit noisy sometimes at night.
